Hightower was way more egregious than thisThis reminds me of the Brian Hightower play against Indiana:
Broadcast agreed with the call, so it probably was correct, but he clearly has possession with two feet down.

If the search function on this board is to be trusted, this was the 8th time in IL's history that this phrase has been posted! He has a dog named Butkus after all. He's always been class. Go Iowa!
Jeremiah Smith had 7 catches on 10 targets for 133 yards.Fahey is not a good qb. I would take Clayton over Fahey.

My opinion only, but I thought it was an incomplete pass. The Miami receiver didn’t complete the catch, as he lost control before being able to “make another football play” (not sure of the exact wording in the NCAA football rulebook, but there is something defining this). This reminds me of the Brian Hightower play against Indiana:

No no no, going to the ground is an entirely different analysis. My opinion only, but I thought it was an incomplete pass. We see this a lot when a player hits the ground and the ball comes loose. That’s incomplete, as the player needs to maintain control after contact with the ground. Same concept here. The fan in me wanted this to be a catch and a TD, but the right call was ultimately made.
