Week 11 Games

That's honestly not that unrealistic at all, but these are the other results I worry about:

1. Maryland traveling to Lincoln and winning. The Terps seem to be in a free-fall since we beat them, and Nebraska can put it together from time to time. Since we laid an egg vs. the Huskers, we need them out of first place to have a chance, as we ALSO need them to beat Wisconsin (another team that beat us). If Maryland comes into Lincoln and gets a W this Saturday and we beat Indiana, then I will start to entertain a fool's hope!

2. Wisconsin losing twice. I think its fairly likely the Badgers go down in Minneapolis, especially if Minnesota has a shot at a bowl game on the line ... but I think they'll get it together to win at home vs. Nebraska.

I want to go to Indy badly, and I really do not care if we get demolished by Michigan or OSU ... getting there in and of itself is a massive accomplishment for this program given where we have been. However, as others have said, I just want to finish strong and make a bowl game ... and the fact that the Illini going 3-0 might arguably be the most realistic scenario up there has me feeling good!

Kind of funny we needed Nebraska to win at Wisconsin in basketball, something nobody thought would happen but it did.

Obviously need a lot more to happen then that, but it would be ironic if Nebraska beats Wisconsin in football and it ends up with us as champion again.

I would also love to know if there is a scenario where the East is decided by a coin flip. Obviously need Michigan to beat OSU and lose to PSU. After that it gets pretty complicated lol.

Watching the Louisville vs Virg game. The running back for Virg was seriously hurt. Most likely neck. There wasn’t a targeting call on Louisville. It was helmet to helmet. It wasn’t called or radioed down.

Speaking of that I wonder what the PSU fans will say if he loses to scUM yet again. Are they heating up Franklin’s seat?

Franklin is not going to get one tomorrow either.
Agreed. And it seems unlikely that Ryan Day will get one on the 25th. Hate to say it but Michigan seems to be far and away the strongest team in the BT this season. Neuheisel tossed out something in that interview that I was unaware of: apparently Michigan should place 18-20 players in the NFL next season, breaking Georgia's (?) record.

Meanwhile, Tommy DeVito starts for the Giants against Dallas Sunday afternoon. Praying he doesn’t get crushed! His poise is about to be tested in a big way.

I don't follow the NFL closely but his elevation to starting QB after being cut is just a wonderful story. Will always have fond memories of what a warrior he was for the Illini last season.

What happens when you don't show up to work for 2 weeks with zero communication?
You get cut from the team. Doesn't mean it can't be done with a little more tact and respect of not knowing what the kid is actually going through. I would hope Bielema would not react the same way in the same situation. Be upset of course, but don't degrade someone that much.

And Rutgers of course.
O/U at 28.5 on that one, exactly where it was for Iowa v. NW last week IIRC. All other conference games are > 40.

Eye-bleedingly unwatchable, I'll bet. Hope the Knights can pull it out.

You can also help provide mental health services if they were truly requested. That goes for college students and students of any age, in general. Have no problem cutting him, but the article indicated he was in mental distress and asking the athletic dept for help.
