"Following a comprehensive evaluation of all possible scenarios over the final two weeks of regular-season play across the conference’s 18 teams, there are no conditions whereby the Ducks do not finish No. 1 or No. 2. "

B1G figurheads held a comprehensive evaluation… meanwhile I used the B1G standings simulator to arrive at the same results.

I am pretty thrilled with our season. But you have to admit the Hoosiers are currently living our dream.

I know we recruit against them a lot, but I feel myself pulling for them.

Not watching the IU/OSU game but according to my ESPN app, IU went for it on 4th and 15 on their own 30, then lost 23 yards on that play leading to a touchdown for OSU. Is that correct? If so, lmao

If I am reading this right, CBS has Illinois behind Iowa for some reason.

Most all Illini fans have to be exceedingly pleased with how the 2024 Season has gone for Our Beloved.

Progress? For sure. Thrills? You bet.

Illini have lost only three games – to Pennsylvania State, Oregon, and Minnesota. Both Penn State and Oregon have superior records and the Illini were likely going to drop those games. The Minnesota loss was disappointing but the Gophers are not a terrible team so the loss there is not too much of a slip up.

The Illini got some quality wins against Kansas, Nebraska, and Michigan.

And a nice bowl slot yet to come.

This has been a great building-block season for the footballers. Elevating the success, standards, and future expectations for the program going forward.

Making Our Beloved footballers a nice bookend addition to the Illini already being a top roundball school.

The great season that Indiana has had might take some National eyes off how much the Illini have improved. But that improvement is clear to see for anyone who's been paying attention.

So, two great roundball powers are now knocking on the door of the Big Ten football elites.

I can confirm it as correct. The B10 tiebreaker are bizarre and convoluted. Basically it comes down to the 3rd tiebreak where Iowa's win over Minnesota, a team we lost to wins the tiebreaker as they have a better record than MSU. We are indeed behind them in official B10 tiebreak at this time.
