That would limit the quality of games they would be able to go to based on conference network obligations, and would eventually lead to the downfall of College Gameday show.

There is much less appeal for Gameday to be in Charlotte for ACC Championship Game (which is the marquee ABC/ESPN game Saturday). Gameday wants to go where the hype is located (CBS game --Georgia/Bama). Atlanta > Charlotte in all ways for Gameday on Saturday. Same goes for regular season games where CBS/NBC/Fox have the most hyped game.

Yes, busy. But he ain’t taking commercial. Travel/flying gets LOTS easier flying private. No security, drive right up to within 100 ft of the jet, quicker and more comfortable.

Washington deserves a spot in CFP after beating Oregon twice
Bama deserves a spot in CFP after beating Georgia
If scUM wins against Iowa they will be in as the 1 seed. scUM loses then UGA and UT are up. O$U being idle hurts their chances after losing to scUM

FSU win they are in but without a qb they could lose. Do you put UT in or UGA

Next year this won’t be an issue for the top teams

Does Bama jump Texas though, a team they lost to this season? And is this loss 100% mean Georgia falls out of the playoff? Where does Ohio State fit into all this?

Seems like a mess right now for the committee to figure out.

I think Bama jumps UT but both teams played tough schedules. Losing to Oklahoma is a worse loss. It is an imperfect system

UGA has to be on the outside right now

Hoping Mich and FSU win just to see the committee say “FFS - what do we do now …. “
Fix will be in against FSU so committee can put in Texas and Bama ( 3rd and 4th) and sneak out back door
