The two games tonight have as many first half yards combined as Quinn Ewers threw for in the first half. Thanks for playing FSU. Texas and Bama took your spotThe ACC championship game also is brutal
Nowhere. They will be in NY6 bowl but not in discussion for playoff. Both Texas and Bama will jump them.Does Bama jump Texas though, a team they lost to this season? And is this loss 100% mean Georgia falls out of the playoff? Where does Ohio State fit into all this?
Seems like a mess right now for the committee to figure out.
Understand your point but FSU is on their 3rd qb. Their back up would be back for the playoffs. Oklahoma State does not have the best defense and the game turned into a shootout. Iowa has limited scUM in the first half other than a punt return. The two games tonight have as many first half yards combined as Quinn Ewers threw for in the first half. Thanks for playing FSU. It should have started decades ago....Let the debate start. Can we just start the 12 team playoff this year?
It would be blasphemy to not include FSU in playoff. 13-0, even if they are on 2nd string QB in playoff.
I personally see it as 3 teams vying for 4 seed: Bama, Texas, and Georgia. We will see if the committee has the guts to shut out the SEC (my head says no). Texas beat Bama in Tuscaloosa by 10, and Georgia had very weak schedule and just lost to Bama. As far as I am concerned, Texas should get in as 4 seed. Let's also not forget that Alabama needed a miracle last week to beat Auburn.
Unfortunately, I would not be surprised (and expect) to see the committee pull a fast one and drop FSU to 5 seed to allow both Bama and Texas in, and that would be very wrong.
Yes, for tonight, but they expect 2nd string QB available for bowl game/playoff.Actually 3rd string true freshman QB.
