Ryan Day is just not a game day coach. OSU wins a lot because they spend more $$ to get good players than most anyone else. When matched against equal talent decision making become critical.

Yet, it essentially serves as a death sentence — because if they didn’t tackle him, they would’ve had the ball with 1:30 to go only needing a FG.

Overall, I just don’t think football staffs are as advanced as they should be when it comes to clock management.

(P.S. this is not a shot at OSU, because every other FBS school would’ve done the same thing. I do question the logic)

At the time I thought they should have just thrown him into the end zone lol. tOSU’s clock management from that point on was absolutely brutal.
