Double digit wins AT West Virginia and Houston plus a blowout against tenn tech? That’s not a fluke. That’s someone who can coach.

“Coach Lance Leipold now has won the same amount of road games this season (two) as the last five KU head coaches combined to win in their tenure at the school.”
Guess Mapistole was right about Leipold. Very good coach and program builder. Good for Kansas. Still prefer Bielema for Illinois.

Yeah Bielema vs Leipold will be as interesting to watch as Bielema vs Freeman.

He's done what I expected strategically upon getting a Power Five job, he brought his coordinators from Buffalo (who were also from Wisconsin-Whitewater, those are his dudes) and they've set about doing their best in the portal to raise the level of the roster.

Schedule gets tougher for them from here, I will be interested to see how they do. It would be pretty stunning to make a bowl that quickly.

The first half was slow at 14-6 but the second half was very entertaining. The first PU game I've watched from beginning to end when they weren't playing us. Watched the Penn St game too. I was so desperate to watch some football on Saturday. It's sort of like when your gf leaves. Once something is not readily available, you crave it more than when you had it. That's how I feel during a bye week without Illinois football!

So you temporarily look elsewhere....for football. 🤗

I didn’t watch NU vs SIU or hear any news nor see a write up on it .

really kinda of shocked . Fitzy’s teams are usually fairly well coached

wtf happened ? is NU really that bad ?
