My wife is a Washington alum, and my daughter is a current student. We tried to watch the UW v. Mich. St. game on Peacock. The feed was terrible. It froze every minute or two. I hope it gets fixed by the time we have a game only available on Peacock. It was nearly unwatchable.

EIU defeated ISU 14-13 in the 111th Mid-American Classic today. It is the Panthers' first win over the Redbirds since 2016 and their first win over their rivals in Charleston since 2013. Game basically swung on late TDs scored by each team. ISU scored a rushing TD with 4 minutes to go but the PAT failed so the score was 13-7. EIU drove down the field with QB Pierce Holley throwing a 25 yard TD pass to Justin Thomas with 30 seconds to go. The PAT was good and that was it.

The Panthers improve to 2-1 on the season and return to action next Saturday against McNeese. Kick-off is set for 2:00 PM and the game will air on ESPN+.

ISU falls to 2-1 on the season and return to action next Saturday against Lindenwood. Kick-off is set for Noon and the game will air on ESPN+

CO v CSU looks more like street fight than football game. Great players making poor choices.

This has probably been brought up, but Big Noon Kickoff changed course to stay in Colorado even though the network didn't have broadcast rights to the game.? That's crazy to me the more I think about it. That is a thirsty move.
TV is an increasingly desperate industry (the writer and actors strike don't help). These are the moves of an industry that is long for this world.

It's not unheard of though. College Gameday has done it for years. Heck, the first time Gameday went on the road back in 1993 for FSU/ND, ESPN didn't have the game then. I'm pretty sure that was on NBC.

I get that, but they switched courses. I'm sure ESPN has as well in the past, but in todays environment, seems a little thirsty and little brotherish.
