Week 5 Games

Sugar Grove
I think this is a classic trap game for PSU
Maybe, but the way their schedule is set up, I am not sure why. They have a bye next week before playing UMass and then the battle in Columbus. If the game in Columbus was next week, I would agree with you.

I think it is actually more a combination of Penn State being slightly overrated (they are still very good but have a slighly raw QB) and NW executing crisper than anticipated this season. I expect Penn State to pull away in 2nd half.

Colorado, on the other hand, is what we expected pre-season before the 3-0 anomaly start. Cue the "will they bowl" media conversation tonight. Also looks like Fleck is rowing the boat of the cliff.

Land O Insects between Quincy-Macomb-Jacksonville
Though the score is 28-17 Minnesota, kind of funny that Gophers has a funeral home/crematorium as a sponsor.

Penn State's defensive performances make me feel better about how Illinois played against them. They are good.

Washington must be excited. They're top 10 right now and no one can see them because they're marooned on Pac-12 Network, which has terrible carriage.

EIU defeated Northwestern State last night 19-10. Game was not as close as final score would indicate as Panthers missed 3 FGs and an extra point and had a potential TD fumbled at the goal line and turned over.

With the win, EIU improves to 4-1 on the season. The Panthers next play Saturday at home vs. UT-Martin for Homecoming weekend in Charleston. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM and the game will air on ESPN+.
