Good for Minny and Ben Johnson. Like that guy and felt for him with losing so many players to NIL.
As an aside: not that highlights (in hair) generally look good, but Dawson’s look awful. That is certainly a choice. I would love to have seen the locker room reaction when he came in one day looking like that.

This morning it was interesting listening to Field of 68 talk about how yesterday's slate was generally unassuming (paraphrasing here). If you watched Minnesota vs Michigan and then bounced to Northwestern vs Maryland, I thought it was the most exciting non-Illini night of the season so far (I didn't even stay up for Gonzaga vs Oregon St.) but this may be the Big Ten bias.
I took a look at KenPom's FanMatch (good tool KP has to see what exciting games are happening); according to KP, the top 8 most exciting games were all upsets. This may seem insignificant but with the limited research from the past few years, this is the first time this has happened at least in a while. The "Thrill Score" that these games are rated by are pre-set and not generated by the outcome of the game:

Not sure Loyalty understands that. If I believed some of the drivel from Illini fans, aillini are in the midst of a 3-game losing streak.

Betting integrity firms are investigating a Jan. 14 men's college basketball game between Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan, after multiple sportsbooks reported unusual wagering activity.
