Wisconsin switching the ball screen and it’s almost completely shut Claude down.

I know the math is the math but I do wish we would adjust somewhat to our opponents’ strengths game to game.

After the Illini game vs IU and seeing how a lot of “fans” reached to Goode, I have a totally different opinion of these Illini “fans”. They are very poor sports

The pedestalizing of Luke Goode is certainly something after committing flagrant foul on our best player and then the post-game comments and unhinged tweets (though IU fans in general and Dakich are fine targets as far as I'm concerned, its just unnecessary drama when your team has lost 2 games in a row by 25 points, maybe worry about that instead?).

This isn't a hard opinion, I barely care about this and just happen to be on an Illinois message board at the moment.

Goode was acting out. Hitting Illini in non basketball ways, high and low. Hit a 7 footer low on purpose expect a response at some point. He hit our best player high and low in a purposeful way.
Who cares about Luke Goode. We owe Goode nothing. He could have hurt one of our players with his look at me, unlike the rest of these slackers I play hard even after the whistle.
Luke Goode was always overrated.
The fact he starts for IU is indictive of state of IU program. A hot mess.

Sleepers, who I enjoy, and others go out of their way to defend Goode and say he is not a dirty player. But he certainly was a dirty player in this particular game. Multiple times. And as a die hard Illini fan his questionable tactics for us, embarrassed me a few times. Thankfully he really did not play much for us. Goode riddance I say after what I saw this last game. Why deny what was so obvious? Luke played a dirty game against his former team.

"Post-game comments and unhinged tweets" Dude what?

3:05 mark:

"I don't think Ballo reacted in the right way...it's a little too much...I think Ballo should've controlled his emotions a little bit...makes us look bad as a program...that's just not how we need to represent the Indiana program..."

I liked Goode when he was here, and I’ll like him in a few years when he’s a fondly remembered alumni playing in Croatia or somewhere.

Right now he plays for Indiana so right now the heck with him. Don’t understand why this is so difficult for either the haters or the white knights.

My opinion of Goode is the same as my opinion of Coleman. They both represented the UI well and were favorites here in their own ways. Now they play for different teams and I hope they do well individually, but it doesn’t hurt my feelings if their new team fares poorly. I carry a fondness for both of them though because of what they accomplished here, both in and off the court. While I don’t think it’ll happen, I’d love for Coleman to have a long NBA career and speak fondly to young players about his days at Illinois while glossing over his brief stop in Manhattan. I think both Coleman and Luke are frustrated by not winning at a level they’ve grown accustomed to.

Oregon and is playing sloop ball right now. Feels like Purdue should be up double digits but it’s only a 5-point game.

Yep, Luke is probably a good kid. He did commit a flagrant foul (dangerous play) and made the questionable comments about fans... and then also I guess you didn't see the tweets?

I like Luke and enjoy him as a player, but I can't support that kind of stuff. Again, he's a good player and surely a good kid and in no way do I wish poorly upon him or anything like that.

We're good enough that it won't impact our metrics that much, but I really think Tennessee is going to tumble down the rankings. They're just not as good as the other top SEC teams, and they're about to play all of them.
