Illinois 7th in KP (off: 3, def: 16)

Created a little distance from #8 Duke and are now right on the heels of #6 Gonzaga (0.14) and #5 Vanderbilt (0.49)

Tonight’s loss will likely temporarily drop Northwestern to a Q2 game.

On the plus side, losing to NW on Wednesday should solidify it as a Q1 game...

NW currently #77 in the NET. Mizzou #76.

NW needs to be top75 to be Q1. Mizzou needs to be top50.

Northwestern is an interesting team this year. They are 2-8 vs P5 teams this year, but their biggest deficit was to Wis by 12, then MSU by 10. All other losses were within 6 points. Hopefully they will win some B1G games to get that NET up, just not against us.
Maybe they can beat Purdue again!

Regarding Mizzou, AJ Storr is still messing with us. Averaging 12 ppg this year. He went off for 26 to lead a terrible Ole Miss team over Mizzou on Saturday.
