Can you imagine trying to sleep tonight? As a TCU fan, I mean.

That last second shot from Auburn could not have been closer, but to Green's credit, they got the call right. It was still in his hand at 0.0.

Honestly, ESPN's terrible delayed game clock on TV caused more confusion because it was 0.1 seconds and that would have been enough to secure the victory.

Not only is Michigan not invincible, I actually think we present a tough matchup for them. Not to say that I’ve marked our game with them down as a W, just that we present a tough matchup. Specifically, it seems like Michigan’s elite defense is predicated in large part on having Mara and/or their other bigs patrolling the paint. Juri was able to stretch the floor and went for a career high 20 pts. And it doesn’t matter who they want to match Mara up with, all of our bigs can stretch the floor.

Biggest concern for me is we don’t really have anyone to stop a big athletic 4 like Lendenberg. But if we play our drop coverage and hug their shooters I think we can hold their offense in check even if Lendenberg gets his. And stretch out their defense to get enough driving lanes for Keaton, Andrej and Kylan to cook. Think it will be a good game.

totally agree. I think we match up really well against what they want to do. their defense is no joke and will be a problem but if we run them off the three point line and get either morez or mara in foul trouble because we pass around them then we can take it to them.

I have to admit, I have only watched Michigan twice - last night and when they demolished Gonzaga. So after seeing both extremes, I am also more confident that we can take them down. The crowd will be absolutely amped, and hopefully the atmosphere, homecoming aspect for Morez and the hilariously long winning streak can give us a mental edge. Of our remaining Quad 1 opportunities, I would actually rank them like this, from most likely to win to least likely...

at #43 USC ... Just don't think USC is very good, and the home court advantage is non-existent.
vs. #30 Indiana ... Also not super impressed with Indiana, and this one is at home.
at #45 UCLA ... UCLA hasn't looked great either, but the second game of the West Coast trip might have us tired?
vs. #1 Michigan ... Obviously a very good team, but like you said we match up better than I thought and the crowd will be electric. We could also REALLY need this win by late February for either a Big Ten title or NCAAT seeding purposes.
at #11 Nebraska ... I am a believer that Nebby is good and it will be a great atmosphere, but I think we will be pretty amped to get some revenge.
at #19 Iowa ... I just have this sinking feeling that Iowa will come out desperately fired up and be hot from shooting after the Minnesota disaster. We can still beat them, but I think we will get their best shot.
at #12 Michigan State ... I'm somewhat scared this MSU team will be able to throw us off our game a bit, and this will be a Saturday night game in front of an electric home atmosphere.
at #6 Purdue ... I'll predict a win at Mackey only after I see one again. It's been an intimidating trip for us lately.

So yeah, I think I would have had Michigan toward the bottom before last night ... but we can absolutely take them down at home if we play well.

I’d be willing to bet that those who were mad (which wasn’t me btw!) would be willing to let it slide if Illinois was 13-0, #2 in the country and had 5 wins by 40+ points lol

You think so? those fans go so mad after the Nebraska game they started saying how weak Texas Tech and Tennessee was to try and worsen their own team’s resume. (Still unsure how that’s “healthy criticism to help the team”, but I digress)

Michigan is really good. But they’ve beaten one ranked team, Gonzaga, who can barely beat Seattle at home at the moment. So I have zero doubt in my mind they’d be whining about the easy schedule. Absolutely zero doubt

I mean, if people would find ways to be upset with Michigans resume and record….those people would be meeting the ignore button for a lot of us

At this rate of fouls, Maryland won't have enough players left to finish the game.

I know Kentucky has struggled so far this year, but they are on the verge of being down at the half to Mizzou...at home.

Is the SEC stinky this year?

Mo vs Ky. Owen hit a 70 footer at the buzzer. Ky doesn't look good tonight. Plus the Md vs IU Md crowd isn't like it used to be to be.
