Oh Nebraska.

Love the outcome with Neb winning. Understand the love for Tominaga but still can’t get over that douche move a few years ago that Belo pointed out on the bench to no avail.
I don’t recall. What happened?

Don’t remember who was shooting the FT, but Tominaga waved his arms and made some movement at the time of the release. Belo was on the bench and was really animated at what he did and tried to get the ref to acknowledge it. Ref didn’t either see it or failed to call it. To the point that Belo had to be restrained, almost got T’d up.

Updated EM after today's slate:

- The Rutgers/Indiana game was so bad for offense, it dragged the total conference average down an entire point from just the single game.
- The "nobody is truly awful" throughline is playing out. Illinois and Wisconsin currently have large EM leads on the rest now thanks to Purdue's loss, but both have tough games coming up this week against MSU and Ohio State, respectively.
- 9 of the top 10 teams are above average offensively. 0 of the bottom 4 are above average offensively. Only four of the top 10 teams are above average defensively.
- Illinois has to win Thursday to keep pace with Wisconsin, who already beat MSU this season.

This is the only thing I think of when I see his name - and have disliked him ever since. I think the term "bush league" applies here.

This isn't technically against the rules, right? As was noted, kind of bush league?

It's not something I would do, but they kid smiles too much in such a genuine way for me not to appreciate him.

Nebraska shot 50.9 from the field.. The Huskers were also 14-for-23 from long range for 60.9 percent.
Not going to lose to very many teams with shooting like that.

Anyone think Edey has looked kind of lethargic the last few games?

If I remember the rules, cannot do that at the time of shooting. You can put your arms up, but before the act of shooting. Little to no movement and no talking during the act. I thought that was the rule and still is. If not, it would be mayhem during FT’s.

Nebraska moves up 12 spots to 46 in the NET. Great for the strength of the conference. I'm not holding my breath, but there is a chance they can get into the top 30 to make our home game against them Q1.

I'm enjoying thinking about some national podcasts asking the question:

Will Purdue or Arizona by more games this year?

That was earlier this week.

I would definitely call Maryland, PSU, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Indiana "truly awful". Then add Iowa and Michigan as just "bad".

Outside the B1G, I'm really interested to see how Houston handles the Big 12. They have been so dominant over the past couple years, but it's a different challenge having to play 3, 4, or 5+ difficult games in a row.

They are definitely a really good team, but I'm interested to see if they take some lumps in a tougher conference and maybe drop a couple seed lines.

The only 3 teams that will compete for a Big 10 title are Illinois, Wisconsin, and Purdue. Michigan St. is good enough but they spotted the rest of the conference 3 games. And then the next highest Kenpom team is Nebraska at 41 and I have a hard time believing they’ll be able to win >13 conference games.
