Harding with 10 points, 12 assists and 1 turnover tonight. He's gonna be a handful.

Wow...Alabama has their own Mike Mayer. Nelson shooting 5 for 19 (3 of 15 from the arc)...and Bama had a 7 pt. second half lead turn into a 12 pt. deficit.

NCAA leaders in TOV/G. Couple familiar names there. With RayJ's 6 turnovers tonight, brings him to an average of 4.0 on the season, moving him ahead of (or behind, I guess) Jayden Epps for spot number 3,297 out of 3,301 eligible college players.
found it funny (LOL) that the leader in turnovers a game M.LEE (most is his school name)

Yup. I think there are several keys in determining the success this year.
1. Make CH effective - have him cut/roll more then pop/shoot.
2. Make Dormask aggressive - he needs to score enough to mask his defense deficiency. We will see how he performs against high level opponents.
3. Make Quincy efficient - he has been doing that so far and hope that trend continues.
4. Ty distributes well - hope he keeps his learning curve on that.
Deficiency?

I was also going to point out as with regard to "we will see how he performs against high level opponents":

18 pts 6 reb vs #4 Marquette
15 pts 7 reb vs Rutgers
33 pts 6 reb vs #11 FAU
6 pts 2 reb vs #17 Tennessee

So really he's been pretty darn solid against high major / ranked teams thus far.
I do have some doubts towards FAU and Marquette but I think at least one of them will be a TOP 25 team at the end of the season. To be more specific, I want to see him perform well against long and athletic defenders. Tennessee is in that category but it could have been just fatigue hampering his performance.

He only shot 2-11 in that game. I think FAU and Marquette certainly qualify as high level opponents. If we get really specific, as in "long and athletic defenders", then yeah that's probably a much deeper discussion. The original "high level opponents" thing has been adequately solved though, as he's averaging 18 pts 5 reb against them.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, Marcus was primarily checked by the 5'9 kid and Vescovi (6'3") in that Tennessee game. And now, going back and watching the condensed version of that game, looks like he just missed a ton of shots. He had a lot of trouble handling the ball against them, seems to jive with my memory that he has been more bothered by smaller/quicker defenders that get in his dribbling pocket more than anything.

To be fair to Mr. Roberts, I’ve never seen Zona used as shorthand for any other school than Arizona. I almost did a spit take when I saw that Northwestern was whooping Zona before realizing it was ASU 😂
Yeah. I went to ASU for grad school and lived in Tempe/Phoenix for 9 years and never once heard or saw it referred to as "Zona St".

Not sure if Kenny Payne will last the new year. That Louisville team looks disinterested, discombobulated and not even playing for the coach. None of those players are listening to Payne.

What is happening with Arkansas? 7-4 and barely ahead of Abilene Christian at home.
