They also have two guaranteed games against Rutgers and Michigan. Their single road trips remaining aren't necessarily easy either with games left at Washington, Oregon, Iowa, Michigan State, and obviously us the last game of the regular season.

So two remaining undefeateds.

USC just doesn't have shooting... scUM just clogged it in on them every time they drive... weren't even looking for shooters and not great spacing. Just not a very overwhelming team offensively IMO.

Hate to say it, but they are legitimate. Dusty May doing good things there.

Watching the recording of the USC-Michigan game, and realizinng that Danny Wolf's nose makes my nose (which has generously been called "a strong feature" by my loving wife) look tiny by comparison. Holy smokes.

Illinois is now 8th in Torvik, not because they dropped, but because Alabama, Gonzaga and Iowa State improved their ratings to pass them.

EDIT: Oh, and Auburn, Houston, Duke and Tennessee also won huge and stayed ahead.

Fellow 89 graduate, business fraternity brother, and great friend. He was 99% a lurker here and very rarely posted, but you would never have found a more passionate, loyal, or dedicated Illinois fan.

I am devastated. The best Illini sports week ever is now simultaneously the worst. Godspeed @Kcillini31 and say hi to Lou up there for me.

Some of y’all give up so easily. There’s 17 more games left in the conference and there is nothing that is going to be won easily.

First time I watched them for any extended period of time, and I came away impressed. When those two 7-footers are hitting on all cylinders, they are fun to watch. Tough matchup.
