They beat the crap out of us broUConn exists on resume and mystique right now. The difference between them and Gonzaga is a couple early season non conference wins.

It was a 7 point game with 2 minutes left, and Keaton was barely involved. Turns out the season consists of more than one game, bro. They beat the crap out of us bro
Someone correct me, but I think it’s just the top two teams from a conference can’t be together. So I’m assuming if we were a #3, some other Big Ten team would be above us.What I remain unclear on is how realistic that is.
Is there really a rule that would forbid us from being the 2 to Michigan's 1, but we could be the 3? What on earth sense does that make?
Top 4 teams from each conference on the top 4 seed lines must be placed into different regionsSomeone correct me, but I think it’s just the top two teams from a conference can’t be together. So I’m assuming if we were a #3, some other Big Ten team would be above us.
Kingston Fleming would cause us problem. he's exactly the type of guard we don't want to face. he's way too fast and explosive even for Boswell to check. once he gets around our primary defender then he puts our bigs in that in between. quick guards scare me.It’s tough to beat Houston. Their strength is defense & rebounding, is probably a little better than us. They have 2 small quick guards that can get into the lane. I just think there’s other teams we could have advantages more than them.
I'm not even joking, this rule should apply to the conferences teams were in in 1995.Top 4 teams from each conference on the top 4 seed lines must be placed into different regions

So we are rooting for Arizona to beat Houston then?
Would Michigan not be #1 Midwest though? Would they put two B10 teams in the top 2 for the same bracket?Getting a 1 seed lessens the likelihood of a path through Chicago so I'd rather we get the 2 seed. Michigan will likely have the upper edge on us for seeding and location placement so better to stay on the 2 line
agreed on Acuff. dude is a freak. Houston isn't that big either outside of cenac but the other big is only 6'7" but has huge wingspan and plays much bigger than that. in theory we could win that rebounding battle and give issues to Houston.Flemings & Acuff are at the top of my 'hard to guard' list (Philon is up there as well), don't want to see either of them
I said this the other day, but Houston has some issues shooting the ball outside of Flemings & Sharp... if you can somehow make any other combination of guys have to finish possessions, that's the way to beat them imo
The “really good guard” issue is somewhat fixed with Boswell back IMO.Flemings & Acuff are at the top of my 'hard to guard' list (Philon is up there as well), don't want to see either of them

I am. Preferably a blowout (or at least not really close), since I wouldn't put it past the committee to give Houston a pass in a close loss even though it's at home and Peat is outSo we are rooting for Arizona to beat Houston then?

Acuff is great, but not sure about not wanting to face Arkansas. They’re a horrible rebounding team, and lack shooting outside of Acuff and Thomas.
The conferences care because they don’t want their best teams taking each other out earlier than necessary.I'm not even joking, this rule should apply to the conferences teams were in in 1995.
Keep Duke and UNC apart, but Arizona and Iowa State? Who freakin cares, don't mess up the bracket over that nonsense.
Think they said they want Philly first two rounds and then Chicago.
The same Kansas that just got their brains beat in by Cincinnati?
Because their donor base are East Coast elites who were too dumb to get into the Ivy League so they play-act as red-blooded Middle American sportsball fans.

IMHO…..Put me in the camp to hope to be the 2nd or 3rd #1. We play more focused on the road. As awesome it would be to play in Chicago, I don’t know if we would play our best ball. Send us somewhere after St.Louis and I bet we have our best shot. Hopefully matchups favor us as well obviously.Would Michigan not be #1 Midwest though?
