Tonje is far from a random guy at this point. He's now the likely favorite to win Big Ten POTY.
He got hurt after 8 games at Mizzou but he was averaging less than 3 points per game when he did play and obviously that was on an awful roster. Not sure why he was only averaging ten minutes per game, but it seems to be working pretty well for both sides now.
Seeing Mizzou play this year, they are obviously more talented and healthy but I remain baffled that they couldn't even luck into a single conference win last season. The SEC wasn't even as good as it is this year.
