Uh, so, the dont's are up by, oh, I don't know, 20 or 30 at the half. Miracles do happen, don't they?

So I noticed the paint crew tshirts at Purdue. I realize I am not the most observant and it's probably been a thing for a long time but it gave me an Idea. I know we have the orange krush but what about adding some Undertakers? Any thoughts or just dumb? Probably some other better ideas out there.

Pharrell Payne is looking very strong for Minnesota. He's reminding me every so slightly of a more mobile Kofi (with less post presense).

He will be tough for Coleman to handle.

A loss to Michigan and Chicago state at home for Northwestern would be pretty damn funny

I hope he doesn’t feast on Hawkins in the post ….another bigs going for a career high against us.

I have no idea why NW is this good. They have quite a few players banged up and one that is out for the season.

Grand Canyon got upset by Tarleton St on the road. Grand Canyon had been 24-2 and sniffing a top 25 ranking.

Tarleton State is no joke. Fifteen years ago when they were both D2 programs Tarleton State over GCU would have been the expected result - Tarleton State was one of the better southwest D2 programs. Now they are D1 and coached by former Kentucky head coach (and Illinois assistant) Billy Gillispie, and are apparently playing pretty good ball in the WAC.

So Washington State Cougs are ranked 21 and have won 7 in a row, wow. They haven't been any good that I can recall since Clay Thompson. Might have to start paying attention. Hope they kick the Az Wildcats Az on the road tonight. Up 3 at 13-10 early.

WSU put on a clinic on how to close out a game against a stellar opponent. Composed and made smart decisions at the very end.

AZ fan boards feeling the burn of a loss too. They had sights on a 1 seed. They are still a good team. WSU is showing up, I give them credit.

Out of all of the possible 1 seeds, I think Illinois matches up best with Arizona. Both teams are similarly constructed - athletic, but more perimeter-oriented with less physical bigs.

After the disaster that was the PSU, we've dropped back to the rest of the pack and all but clinched the B10 Title for Purdue, who now has around a 96% projected chance of hanging the banner. We are still the odds on favorite for the 2 seed in the BTT, but it's no longer high odds. Meanwhile, congrats to Nebraska- their road win at Indiana was a big one for them and they are now projected to finish as the 4 seed in the BTT after tiebreaks, knocking Northwestern out of the double bye to the 5 seed. PSU's win pushes them out of a 1st round matchup, and they have officially separated themselves from the bottom three teams. Speaking of, Michigan, OSU, and Indiana all need to pull some upsets to avoid that 1st round game as they are the clear dregs of the B10 this year.
