I didn't know where else to put this -- I missed Rick Pitino going full-on Bruce Weber in tearing his own team apart in the media. Shoot, this makes Bruce's meltdown seem like nothing.

As if you needed another reason not to like Pitino, here you go.

To be fair to UConn, they were in the AAC up until the last 4 years including this year when they were in the new version of the Big East so it's not as if they had plenty of opportunities at hand. Even their national champion team last season only played 3 true road games in conference against ranked teams with the losses by 10 at then #22 Xavier, 6 at #25 Marquette, and 3 at #23 Creighton.

The only defense worse than ours....no wait, they actually defended well at Auburn over the weekend. But, generally speaking, their defense is really really bad. They are also a very young team so they have some kind of an excuse. Illinois does not

Spirited game so far between Rutgers and the Dont's halfway through the first half.
Also top shelf broadcasting crew to enjoy.

Just had the alternating technical fouls for talking to the bench after made 3's.
