By doing the exact opposite of what NW is doing to them. Double Reese and he wilts. Keep Young in front of you and he can't torch you all night.
Yeah I noted my frustrations during the first NU-MD game. Doubling Reese and hedging ball screens for Young. Extremely effective against Maryland and we just refused to do it in our first game with them. Saw a little of both in our second game. I just don’t get it.

Looks and sounds like about 1,000 people at this Maryland/Mildcats game
I was there. No more than 5-6k. Bleak.

Nick Martinelli of Glenview South had himself a night: 27 pts. Dude can ball and couldn't miss.

They're 4-0 against Maryland and Penn State. We're 1-2. The OP was right. Our resume's not that different, outside that Q4 loss. Our metrics are much better, which matter.
One of those losses was without our best player.

We're 4-0 against Rutgers, Nebraska, and Minnesota. They're 1-3. Our resume's are very different. Oh and that Chicago St loss. OP is not right.

In BTT seeding news, over the past 2 days, everything has gone crazy with Indiana's upset over Wisconsin and Northwestern's win over Maryland. I said that the bottom 4 in the B10 of Michigan, OSU, Indiana, and Rutgers were pretty much set barring a monumental upset. Welp, that happened. Wisconsin's loss knocks them out of the double bye, losing their tiebreak to Nebraska down to the 5th seed, and Northwestern's road win jumps them up into sole possession of the 3 seed. Meanwhile, Iowa's win over PSU coupled with Minnesota and Maryland both losing somehow jumps them 3 seeds back up to 7th. That puts Indiana, Rutgers, OSU, and somehow MD into a 4 way projected tie at 8-12!! And incredibly Maryland loses all tiebreaks against those teams dropping them a projected 5 seeds all the way down to 13th place! Yes, 13th place! Indiana meanwhile moves up an incredible 3 seeds and hold on by the slimmest of margins to a 10 seed and a single bye. Go figure. The B10 is crazy this year. We still have decent odds to get the 2 seed but again, we're not an overwhelming favorite for it and still have a decent amount of work to do. Purdue is still sitting on about 96% odds to win the conference. Oh and yes, Michigan is still looking to lock down the 14 seed but will have to wait until tomorrow where a loss will do it. going to be a crazy final 2 weeks of the regular season.

Lol. You love doubling down on being wrong.

Team A:
Q1: 4-5
Q2: 6-2
Road/Neutral: 6-5

Team B:
Q1: 5-6
Q2: 5-1
Road/Neutral: 6-7

Outside of Northwestern's quad 4 loss, our resume's are similar, so yes, the OP was correct.
