I’m of the school of thought that there’s not a team in the country we can’t beat… except Purdue. They just present such serious matchup problems to what we like to do. Edey and Purdue is our kryptonite.

Yes, we could’ve won the other night, but when push came to shove, Purdue flexed its inside-outside game to perfection. We would’ve need to make every shot to keep pace with them.

Bring on every other team and let other teams with better matchups (and there are only a few) tackle Purdue.
We must agree to disagree

What's all this negative Edey chatter in here? I thought this board worshipped that darn guy

That BS bush league move by Storr at the end of that game..... is just yet another example why I dont want him anywhere near our program
Missed it. What did Storr do?

Purdue had the ball with a little over a minute left. They let the shot clock run all the way out purposely. They let all their seniors exit for their home crowd with 38 seconds left. Wisconsin went down and scored so Purdue crossed half court with about 10 seconds left and a reserve was just standing there dribbling the clock out, Storr stole the ball and went down and dunked it. I want no part of any of that BS!!! JMHO also remind yourself the game was a 10 point game when he stole that and dunked it at 8 second mark

Edit: Also I'm not sure but the guy dribbling the ball out, could very well have been a senior who never gets to play much and that may have been his last time on that court. I'm old school, that s**t didn't fly back then. I can promise he would be reminded of that the next time we played lol. To me it goes along with what I see when I watch Storr....a showboat that is all about him. Not even close to an every day guy....again jmho

Morehead State won the OVC last night, and Longwood won the Big South today, so that's 2 auto bids down, 30 to go.

they just did a halftime segment asking who the biggest threat to Purdue in the big ten tourney was, and Casey Jacobsen mentioned Nebraska and Northwestern and not us. I hope that clip is playing on loop in Ubben this week.
Well, they lost three games this year, and we weren’t one of them, so…

One other #1 seed upset from yesterday:

-Wagner defeated Central Connecticut State 66-56 in the NEC semifinals. The 6th seeded Seahawks will play at 2 seed Merrimack on Tuesday night in the tournament final. This means we'll get either a first time NCAA Tournament participant (Merrimack) or a team that will have only made it for the 2nd time ever (Wagner).

Colgate wins the Patriot League auto bid. Wouldn't say they pasted Bucknell, but they cleaned up in the end.
