God, ESPN continues to suck so bad. Their halftime highlights of the B10 tourney feature Chuckie Hepburn's layups to beat Purdue (oh and by the way they will face Illinois in the final).
And no highlights or even mention in passing of TSJ dropping a tourney record 40 against Nebraska. Total joke of a network.

Kent State player just had one of the biggest brain farts you'll ever see. Didn't know they had just took the lead and thought they still needed to foul.

OMG Kent state took the lead and theguy fouled on purpose to send Akron to the stripe….
I want no part of this Wolfpack team this year. Burns has great course sense and just not a guy any modern big wants to guard for 40.
The Kent State coach's reaction to that was great.

Akron vs Kent State, MAC tournament title. KS gets a putback with 6 seconds left to take a 61-60 lead. A KS player inexplicably fouls an Akron player. Two free throws are good, Akron up 62-61 now. John Groce may get back to the tournament. Just an unreal event.
EDIT - Akron wins 62-61. Happy for John Groce to get back to the NCAA tournament, but still kind of in shock over exactly what happened. I obviously didn't like the results of the John Groce era at Illinois, but he never did stupid stuff at Illinois and took his firing with as much class and dignity as one can in that situation. He just wasn't ready for that role when he was hired, and I'm happy to see him have success again.

Assistant Coach has to be yelling "play D, no fouls" (and perhaps they were...) That poor kid...SMH
I mean, there's a coaching job open for CWebb so maybe that was a sign.
Or maybe they only have so much time each segment and can only cover so many of the tournament games going on.
Gotta feel for Rollins from Kent State. Was a heck of a hard fought game on both sides.
