John Groce needs to go, done with him. Every single year you get mediocre results from a mediocre head coach. This is Illinois, how can you continue to defend this?

I wanted to at least get to December before the "Fire Groce" chorus returned. Shall we talk about missed free throws and a total no-show by the bigs at all?

The amount of chances we did not capitalize on was embarrassing. We deserve to lose that game and I'm glad we did. Maybe they will learn something from this.

Nothing complicated. Nothing to analyze. This program is a smoldering pile of rubble.

You either make winning plays or you don't. We don't. We haven't since our current players were middle schoolers.

Love him to death, but Malcolm was the reason for the loss. He was held scoreless for the last 25 minutes.

The bigs were taken out by the refs. Not much you can do there

I better not hear any crap about "We lost to an NCAA tournament team" in the postgame comments by Groce. You can't lose this game at home.

Up 10 under 4 gotta close. Inexcusable. Tate a couple uncharacteristic turnovers in regulation and OT. I feel like nobody rebounds missed free throws well anymore.

Numerous occasions where this game could have been put away and the team went to sleep EVERY time. Same things that have been happening for years.

BTW what does Dustin Ford do other than instruct Groce to sub at the worst possible times over and over again?

Im sick of defending Tate, done with it. I think hes a good kid, has passion but he should not be in the ball game in the final 2 minutes of any game or an OT game. He kills the ball when hes handling. Hill or Tracy should have the ball in their hand in a close game! End of story! Drives me crazy that he handled the ball late in this game, not even freaking out about the turnover, its more that he completey kills the offense.

With Tracy looking as good as he does, theres no reason for Tate to be in with Abrams. If he needs a breather then I get it. But no reason for both of them to be out there. This is a frustrating loss

I dont know if I blame Groce for this debacle . These seniors need to take a long hard look in the mirror. Groce put the game in their hands and they basically fell apart .

No...Fire Groce is easier. They have been waiting five games for this. Let them have their moment.
