Any else hate those announcers? Seriously - down by 21 and they are calling phantom holding calls and reviewing pass interference calls? When Wisky got away with holding multiple times?

Does Tubberville have an axe to grind ? Is he best buds with Ron Zook?

This team just simply isn’t fun to watch. I don’t get excited when we have the ball, because we don’t score points. Hard to win games that way.

That being said, we covered the spread and on paper it looked closer than it actually was.

Better than I expected. Freshmen keep getting better.

Defense is getting better. Stepping up last two games.

Offense- injuries and turnovers just killing us.

Had to work today , however I gather this was more along the lines we lost the game versus Wisconsin gave us a beat down.

All that matters is that we're one week closer to 2019.

I'm just glad there's no promotion/relegation is college football. We'd be in the Sun Belt by now.

Epstein was so good, that once he went down offense is now toothless.

Two weeks of progress. Phillips and Harding make a big difference at LB and Milan had his best game of the season. I wish we had seen this kind of performance out of the Defense against Rutgers.

The Offense just isn't good. I'm not sure what can be done to fix this with the personnel we currently have. It kind of reminds me of the 2012 offense. I'm happy for Kendrick Foster who has been through a lot in 5 years at Illinois.

Wisconsin wasn't all that impressive. Maybe they kept things very vanilla today but without Taylor, they looked very vulnerable.

Good effort and hopefully they play better next week.

If we didn't get that illegal substitution call this could have been a very different game. Oh well, at least we didn't let them roll over us like most expected.

Definitely hats off to the defense. That was an unbelievable effort given the injuries, the opponent and where we are in the standings. The offense is going to struggle with almost all the running backs hurt and the glaring deficiency at QB. I felt like there was, overall, a lot of progress shown by the team. Probably not going to win a Big Ten game but like to see them keep fighting til the end.

The team gave a great effort and kept the score respectable.

Our offense is in tatters, health-wise, so I really can't say anything bad about it with the exception of the QB situation - can we at least not be subbing these guys mid-series?

2 QBs is never a good setup but we seem intent on making it as bad as it can possibly be.

I hate to be this guy but Ligs needed to be gone yesterday. ST, outside of those couple blocks at the beginning of the year, have been a total disaster.

McGee gets the same results from any QB in this system. Poor reads, terrible decisions and INT factory. Lack of development is a huge concern

Our offense lacks imagination. Very few screens when the D is bum rushing the QB, VERY slow to get plays into the QB. Wrong QB in at the wrong time (if you're going to platoon - don't bring in QB2 (non-passer) to pass on his first play please).

In a way, this game was closer than it looked. Take away that illegal substitution, them miss their field goal and us hit ours, and that’s 13 point score swing. Now, I know changing history changes everything that follows, but...

Badgers are slipping in the polls this week. They did not look impressive today.

11. Not 12. Football is limited to 11 players at a time. Simple concept.

Doubt it. They were a little banged up, played a conservative offense against an inferior opponent, did what they needed to win. But that's just my humble opinion.

If you want to make an omelet, you've got to have some eggs. I give McGee a pass for now. Actually perhaps an incomplete would be more appropriate

Agree, I'm going with Incomplete given what he has to work with.

Can’t have All QBs making same mistakes. When all QBs under him do this, that’s a disturbing sign. Not much faith next round of QBs develop under him. Jmho. Defensive improvement is nice to watch.
