Team is cooked poorly constructed roster finally caught up to us. No way this team beats Michigan or UCLA and USC on the road. Keaton is exhausted. His legs are gone . Underwood ran him into the ground. Underwood doesn’t deserve to be the coach at the University of Illinois. Dude has 4 first round draft Picks TSJ , KJ , Will and Now Keaton and can’t beat Wisconsin . Never will I get excited about a Illinois basketball team again as long as that dude is the Head coach

And I am SICK and TIRED of having ZERO home court advantage …

To every single person in the Orange Krush tonight … You should be EMBARRASSED !!!!!!!

Absolutely pathetic !!!!!!!!
Absolutely, I want the crappy old Assembly Hall back. Where others hated to play. We play harder on the road, that ain't right!

Needed more proven guard depth …

Wagler, Bam, Petro, Lee … 2/4 of those guys aren’t even playable …

Can’t have that …
You play them anyway. Not gonna last a full game playing 1 guard and 5 bigs.

observations: We seemed tired, especially KW. Healthy Boswell will take some pressure off. Atmosphere doesn't help iwth the intensity either. Should have used subs patterns better. Tough for our bigs to stop two quick guards. Maybe chill out the practice intensity a bit? When we pay the twins 7 footers, why not use the post more. Double low, or high/low. A discouragingng loss. Get healthy we need all of our guys.

Up 12 with what, 5 minutes left? This ain't the NBA, where a 12-point lead isn't safe even with 2 minutes left. We looked like we were looking ahead to Indiana at that point instead of doing what needed to be done at that point - stomp on their effing throats! Just so many things wrong in this one. Even though this game was in no way AS much of a screwjob by the refs as the MSU game was, they were definitely a factor(seriously, why do we never seem to get that home cooking other teams get at home all the time??) and Brad HAS to tear into them in the post-game - after he tears into the players, of course - otherwise expect more of the same.

Absolutely deflating loss. Inexcusable.

I just did not understand in overtime why we didn't go at their big with KW. They chose to switch all game.

Every time we did we got something positive out of it.

"Finally the ball finds Wagler" as Hummel described.

I don’t care what any long term stats say, which should mean a lot coming from me! 🤣 Against a given opponent, I’m not materially more confident in Champaign than I am playing at their place … and I know I’m far from alone, and we are justified being annoyed by that because it’s a problem. Your home court must be the buffer that turns tonight’s loss into a scary, too-close-for-comfort win. We need our home fans to CARRY us to victory.

Right now, and I’m not sure when it became this way, playing a home game for Illinois mostly just provides one real advantage … the players not having to travel. And we wonder why we never get this supposed home whistle?? Why would refs ever be swayed by our crowd?!

It’s tough when you don’t have two guards to play defense at the point of attack. Could Lee have given a little bit on defense maybe, but Brad clearly doesn’t trust him.

A lot of intense reactions here because it sucks to lose.

But AS not playing tonight was HUGE. That's 28 minutes taken away. Defense and scoring and rebounding missing.

If you told me at the beginning of the year we're playing Wisconsin without KB and AS, I ask did we at least not get embarrassed?

It SUCKS to lose, especially at home. But they gave all they had, and all they had left.

That loss is completely on underwood, zero changes on defense and didn’t run any offense all game. Pathetic. Relying on Keaton for everything. Mirk isn’t a ball handler sorry,

So frustrating of a loss simply because two things this team does well...FTs and rebounding...were very poor tonight in spite of the team shooting great from the floor.

Wisky played hard and overcame a severe height deficit...hats off.

Officiating was poor and yet this game could have been won at the line.

Now, rest up, get healthy, and welcome the Hoosiers with a 24+ pt. pounding and right the ship. This is a truly elite team capable of winning it all when the field is leveled in the dance.
