That’s not really for us to figure out, is it? These are all Brad’s guys. If he really has five who are unplayable, that’s his cross to bear. If we can praise him for Wagler (and we should) we sure as hell can get in his !!! for having no depth.
Five?

SUCKS TO LOSE! When I heard Boswell was out, I figured we would go about 6-4. When I heard Stojakovic was out before the game, I knew we were going to lose although I held out hope. We have 3 guards and 2 of our best players did not play. That's a bad recipe for a loss especially with the guards they have. No one can guard them. I just hope we can get healthy and STAY healthy. This team under Underwood has been PLAGUED with this stuff. It's a good thing we had that 12 game winning streak. These guys are gonna need a bounce back win. Hopefully our 2 best perimeter defenders are back for Indiana.

Not even close to the fans at the Kansas home court game of Monday night. Are our home games really a home court advantage... really embarrassing!

This team is exhausted. That's why they miss free throws and rebounds and assignments on defense. Brad needs to get something out of Lee and Petro to at least just spell Wagler for 5 minutes a game.

I put that on Brad, but we can't blame him for injuries. We are 2-0 fully healthy the last two games. We need a break and to get back to full strength.

Not to harp too much on the refs, but how does every 50/50 call go against us? Two goaltends that were trapped on the glass that looked pretty clean and the one that hits glass then rim then by Z which was not over the cylinder. That should be a live ball to be legally blocked. The foul on that was terrible as well. Called by DJ from behind the play with no angle to make the call. Also the Z jump ball. Just garbage officiating on those two plays.

We got a small guard problem. We especially have a small guard problem when our best two perimeter defenders are out.

Complaining about Andrej’s 2-6 3-point night shooting nights has always been wildly unfair to everything else he brings to the table.

And we dearly missed his rebounding tonight to boot

Well at least we know of two transfers so far, Lee and Petro, if you think either of them would have coughed the ball up like Mirk tonight you are mistaken. Nobody has attempted to guard Mirk coming up, Wisconsin did and that’s the result. 6 man rotation Lolol

If you're on a message board and not actually at the game, I really don't want to hear what you have to say about the crowd. But that is my opinion.
Tough commute from FL, but feel free to ignore other posters' opinions.

5?

We’d be a 3 line if the season ended today.
But the season doesn’t end today, I believe we have 7 games left before the B1G tourney, we’ll go 3-4 if we play like we did today.

I said before Sparty the most important thing was to come out with no injuries. Didn’t happen.

I always say it’s not who you play so much as when you play them. And of course we face the one team you don’t want to see without our 2 best guard defenders where they are coming off of a complete screw job of a loss where we are going to get their A+ effort on a quick turn. When wisconsins bigs hit 3s they can beat anybody and they were 6-11 tonight. So, so frustrating.

But, really gutsy performance given the circumstances. Probably snakebit out of a conference championship yet again but you look at all of the rotten, fluky things that have to happen for this team to lose a basketball game, we are a hell of a team. Let’s get healthy these next 3 weeks and go on a run. When we have anyone and are firing on all cylinders we are darn near impossible to beat.
I agree it was a gutsy performance. Thought Wisconsin would win after hearing AS news.

Simply don't have the quickness to contain their guards.....which I thought we did a heck of a job for about 30 minutes. And no secondary creator outside Keaton.

Just another unexplainable Brad loss at home that happens every year. Not even surprised anymore.

Needed more proven guard depth …

Wagler, Bam, Petro, Lee … 2/4 of those guys aren’t even playable …

Can’t have that …
Wagler doesn't pass either. 1 of those 4 guys is an actual tested PG.

Orange Krush is pathetic. Time to overhaul the entire organization. I hope students here are reading - you suck. Get a grip and figure it out. Completely unacceptable. Maybe it’s time to stop the donation stuff to drive seating priority.

Now for the game, just dead legs at the end. Can’t hit the free throws and can’t grab a board. Oh and defense what’s that. Get the 2 starters back and figure it out. Unacceptable performance but 2 key guys out can be used as an excuse for now. The biggest issue is you were up double digits under 8 - pathetic performance.

Can we also not say anything about the refs because we aren’t trained officials or about anyone’s play because we aren’t D1 athletes?? Come on, haha. People are annoyed that our student section literally isn’t being a student section and that our crowd is so noticeably less engaged than other good programs. That should bother all of us … they’re two components of pride that make up our program’s tradition just like any other tradition associated with the university.

Ben played really well. Keaton did too other than from the line. Tomi has a good firstvhalf but we went aways from him.

Mirk played poorly and made careless errors.

BU coaching tonight not taking advatage of what Tomi was doing scoring himselfvand making good passes to shooter was just dumb. Only thimg worse was FT shootimg, reboundung and the horrible refs. Several reasons for this loss tonight. Only guy that couldnt have played much better was Ben.

Some late-season observations I shouldn’t have to make (because we pay people a lot more to see them):

- We’ve GOT to come up with better offensive schemes down the stretch than just ‘leave it to Keaton’.

- Teams are learning they can disrupt us with constant contact and physical play all game and will get away with it most of the time.

- We have to stop the ball and limit fast break points. Teams are learning they can play fast against us because we don’t get down the court quickly (on either end).

- Leaving wide open 3-point-attempts is inviting teams to go off on you every night. This can easily lead to a huge upset in the NCAA tournament.

- Settling for 3s when you’re the tallest team in the country AND also not rebounding well is a recipe for disaster. We can back down almost anyone. We are so much better shooting 3s after a kick out from down low.

People complaining about the orange krush, have you ever taken a look when they pan to the crowd. A lot of nerds in there.

When I was in Champaign, we never wanted to deal with fundraising to be a part of the Krush. I wasn't exactly at my charitable peak when I was a 20 year old college kid. However, I was in my loud and rowdy peak. Because we didn't want to deal with the fundraising, and the lottery system typically resulted in bad seats, we tended to watch at Legends or in our apartment, and we were quite vocal wherever we watched.

Get rid of the fundraising, have a pregame happy hour with cheap beer, and you will attract the crowd that is going to be loud and wild.
