I'm not much for predicting outcomes but if I'm going to do it then I might as well go all the way.
31 - 13 Illini What's the one thing that was the talk of training camp but ASU has zero game tape of? . . . Miles Osei My prediction: Nate's fine but Miles accounts for 3 touchdowns, one receiving, one rushing and one passing. Miles beats his man over the middle for a deep score. Goal line read option and Miles outruns the defense to the corner. And my favorite: ball inside the ten, Osei lines up in the backfield and takes a direct snap, roles left, ASU is caught of guard and not wanting to get beat again forget about Nate who slips through the line, the lefty throws back across his body hitting a wide open Scheelhaase in the back of the end zone. Accounts for 120 all purpose yards. Osei Wow Wow |

To clarify, thaKid isn't a troll. He honestly believes that we will be competing for a national championship this year. Almost all of our starters many backups are future NFL players, we have a dozen future first round NFL picks, etc...

We do have a ton of talent on this current roster courtesy of the Zooker. Hell, ASU did too courtesy of Erickson. The problem with both rosters was coaching at the top and discipline. Damn though Zook had an eye for talent. |

And every recruiting class was going to be a MONSTER. Prediction ASU - 27 UI - 20 I think we'll play fine, I think they will play better. |

Nate will likely not play much tomorrow. Injury worse than they are letting on. You'll like see both of the other qbs tomorrow.
On O'Toole last week, the delay of game and then the almost delay weren't on him, but on the staff not getting the plays in timely. I know the family of someone that was in the huddle, that's as far as I'll go. And they definitely sat on the lead in the 2nd half with conservative play calling. It was pretty obvious was it not? I think you all will be pleasantly surprised with qb play tomorrow. Watch and learn. |

Can he be our difference maker this game? If so: Illini - 24 ASU: 20 W/O Scheel: ASU: 24ish Illini:10 Keep in mind, our defense IS really top notch. I'm not seeing ASU dumping 30+ points on us. __________________ Proud Fighting Illini, Class of 2014 ![]() |

I don't believe for one second that the coaches don't know who's starting tomorrow yet.

After traveling with my wife and Mother in law for 2 full days I got a chance to relax so I turned on the tv and saw the IL ASU game was being broadcast. I was a little surprised. I wasn't exactly sure what day it was. I thought it was still Friday but witht he game on it must be Saturday. Then I was really confused when I saw the game was at IL instead of ASU. Then I noticed it was week 3. I knew I was tried but I didn't realize i was so tired that for a while I thought last year's game was this year's game.

Hey I was thrilled we won. (again) The funniest part was that we were sitting in the living room and I turned to my wife and asked her why Tim Beckman looks so much like Ron Zook. __________________ One does not simply walk into Mordor. |

ARIZONA STATE VS. ILLINOIS
Opened: Arizona State pick ‘em Current: Arizona State -4 Commentary: If Illinois QB Nathan Scheelhaase plays, take the points. http://www.beyondthebets.com/college...ead-for-pokes/ This seems to be the consensus from betting sites Last edited by Clemens; Sep 8, 2012 at 12:17 AM. |

Jonathan Brown tweeted about going to bed about 2 hours ago, so that makes it about 12:30 pacific time. That's a pretty good bedtime for a 9 30 game

O'toole gives us the best chance to win this game and you'll see why tonight, if they let him throw the ball downfield unlike last week.

As I said in my orginal post some of you Illiniois fans are giving asu way to much credit. This is a team with a qb that has little to none big time playing experince and they are weak at defensive backs position. Plus there o line not a whole better than ours. Plus you need to stop worring about the weather out it has been stormy all week and the high was dropped to below 100 plus it just rained huge all day friday. Lets no forget ASU is only getting 4 points and that because the game is here and Sun Devils stadium is far from hostile.
