Powell to Memphis and Barber to NC State will certainly make things interesting around here. Powell NOT going to Alabama and Barber NOT going to KU probably raises as many eyebrows outside Illini nation as Nunn's NOT going to Marquette in favor of a forthcoming verbal to UI will.

1st time poster here, followed this site for some time now. Really appreciate all the information that you guys provide. My sister is at the football game today and said she saw Kendrick Nunn with Kendall Gill. I love the fact that we have kendrick on campus with some of the great Illini of the past. I also have a question, with regards to Notre Dame moving to the ACC, that would not happen until 2014-2015 season in regards to them moving to play basketball in the ACC?

Yes there's still the possibility of Jones, but DJack is off the backburner and is now a priority for KU.

I think we sleep very well. If it is true that Groce has made XRM a #1 priority it means he at least is comfortable with the situation with DJ.

That is all I need.

What Self has done in the past has been great. But if Self has lost Cat and with the sun setting he is still chasing, makes me feel good.

Thought DJ was our #1 priority? If that has changed to XRM could it be that we want him at the point bc DJ may be going elsewhere?

My uniformed guess is that it's still us and ND for Jackson, but if he visits KU then all bets are off IMO. I still won't believe we are landing a top Indiana player until it actually happens.

I hope somebody doesn't simply say "everything is fine, goodnight" in regards to DJ, but I do have faith in Groce. And people, we will have to go up against these schools for recruits, and thankfully under Groce, it's happening more and more often than it ever did under Weber.

Jackson knows that he was not Self's first choice. He knows that he is first for Illinois and ND. Unless Kansas has been his dream school, I think he thumbs his nose at them.
