I remember when they announced that "Our state, our school" thing, some people grumbled that it was lame and just a response to Northwestern.

Looks like it worked on Nunn though!

Why Schilling? Much better options out there at power forward. I don't believe Schilling even has an offer.

Monster get for Coach Groce. He's quickly making a believer of each of us in Illini Nation. So who's next?

Awesome job by Coach Groce and the staff. I haven't followed bball much since football started but it's obvious that this is fantastic news.

Groce isn't recruiting Schilling, who's now playing for Findley Prep. He'll probably end up at Minny or USC

Groce is second to Nunn in recruiting

BTW, this is what Groce (and other Div. I coaches) has to go up against:

Not ranked, and really did not do much in games last year. Looks the part. No offer, though.

Any chances that DJack is actually in the fold but was asked to wait to announce so that Nunn could have the spotlight and the pied piper of the Groce era. Seems like Nunn would want that type of thing more than DJack. Probably unlikely but could be possible.

Welcome to IlliniNation Kendrick ... The kingdom is indeed yours (and your future teammates) at the moment ...

Kudos to Coach Groce and an extremely hard working staff ... It's amazing almost beyond the point of belief what you have already achieved in a short amount of time ... I am in awe ...

Here's looking forward to more tallies on the list below!!!

So is FSU the perceived leader for XRM? From what I can find it seems like they aren't to talkative about who leads or if there is a favorite.

Nunn Pulls the Trigger

"We feel coach Groce is building a dynasty," Melvin said. "He's building that and he's going to keep it that way because of the type of guy he is."
