Was his last name Mumford(sp). He played for Springfield Franklin as a seventh grader when they placed second at state and was a year ahead of me. Only one of those guys ended up playing hs ball but i would run with a few of them that should have plus a cuole that ended up in jail during hs. His little bro was in my class. Anyway moved to East Saint and a couple of guys saw him at track meets over their hs careers and told me he was also the starting guard pg on that team.

It's about poll time to see which recruit our fans want next not named KBD or XRM. I want Kevon Looney but I don't think it will happen. Kid might end up an all star in the NBA. Reminds me of Durant.

I can't remember the other kids name from the metro east that we were recruiting but not as hard. I believe he was a friend of MH.

Going from one of the worst major conferences to the best had a huge impact. The kid was headed to Illinois before that happened. Weber had some unfortunate events happen that influenced his chances with certain recruits, but the difference now is Groce has backup plans that will work. He is prepared.

I emailed a few people looking for positives last night and heard some very encouraging things. I'll post more later and elaborate when I get more time today

Can someone tell me more about Austin Colbert? It seems like his stock has been going down recently... He listed Florida, Baylor, and Texas in the past, but I see Seton Hall & Miami nowadays. How good is he?

His situation is very similar to Mike Shaw. Ranked high early on and then a lot of others caught up or passed him. He has definitely come on as of late and still has a ton of potential. Definitely gives us an athletic 4 that we are looking for.
