Now that Bielema is heading to Arkansas we might be able to steal one of them.....what do you guys think?

Yeah, gonzo visited my school in the spring last year. Our school doesn't have D1 talent whatsoever. He just sat in my coaches office and held a conversation. Nothing more.

Hopefully the Beckman regime can right the ship and survive in the short-term because it is this kind of long-term relationship building within the state that will help sustain success for the FB program once they exhaust the initial recruiting bump programs get from selling playing time at a rebuilding project

If UW quickly hires a good coach, most of these guys will keep their commitment. Wisconsin is all about the program history, the town and the university and these guys committed to all of these things. Sure, take a shot but I wouldn't count on mass defections.

I agree playing time will play a factor, but these kids (if they decide to switch their commitment) are going to be looking for a stable situation. I bet a few of our true/rs frosh start next year. I, for one, am on the Aaron Bailey bandwagon.

I doubt he flips to us but you never know. We are closer to home and the head coach that just recruited him is gone and possibly some of the assistant coaches that recruited him are leaving as well.

I have no idea what Arkansas' current recruiting class looks like, but usually coaches will try to bring their commits to their new schools.

That makes sense but for a coach who is leaving from Wisconsin to Arkansas that may seem awfully far to a high school kid
