Even though this is what I thought would happen, it still stings. IMO were are stuck without a PG in the 2013 class now. Anot of the excitement surrounding IL BBall just deflated. Yes, I know we have Nunn and Im thrilled about that. But Dj would have put us over the top and made a good class great.

I built this one up in my mind WAY to much. Very unprofessional showing by Telep. All this time and he can't wait 4 hours to let the kid make the call. Pretty low of him

I believe his background had a lot to do with attending ND.

How do you guys know that Telep wasn't given permission by Jackson? I have a feeling they wanted it to be this way. I said yesterday that I thought it would be leaked before the actual announcement. That's a pretty pressure filled atmosphere for a situation that's supposed to be pretty enjoyable.

Makes sense to me, now that you mention it - now word can spread and the presser can fill up with friends/family/locals for the good news (and no need to set the phone tree in motion).

I wouldn't necessarily feel right about wishing ill on a kid, but that said:

If he truly did slient verbal to us (and potential teammates) only to cop out and renege, then I have no desire to wish him success, or care. Seems like people may be giving him more credit for being "classy" than he deserved. Seemed like a lot of self-hyping in the past week or so, and I don't find that classy at all.

Perhaps I'm wrong. But either way, I have no burning desire to see him win, and my standard line is that I hope ND loses everything they ever compete in, so I'm going to continue with that. Enjoy having a handful of superfans!
