I think the ABC mirror is usually utilized with ESPN2, not ESPN. But you're right, I haven't seen a lot of strictly 2:30 ESPN games this year.

This game will act as nightmare fuel. I know losing at home to IU is technically the nadir of Big Ten football, but this is going to be so bad.

They may have to add a spot for extra numbers on the Ohio St. side of the scoreboard.

I'm hoping that Urban decides to give the third stringers a chance to play. If that happens and Illinois plays its best game of the year, I can't believe that we can't keep the margin under 40 points.

My suggestion is we quietly slip down to Charleston and swap teams with EIU, picking up some kids from Charleston and Tolono-Unity on the way back to C-U. They are quick and have an experienced coaching staff. Of course, they would be tic'd off where we loose their Tenn Tech game for them. Couldn't be any worse than what will happen in Columbus this Saturday. Heck, might be able to keep up with them for 3 quarters. :rolleyes:

As a public service, I think you should list this game for a 7:00 PM kickoff. That way nobody will turn to the game until it's over, and you'll save a whole lot of people several hours of embarassment and frustration.

I'm pretty sure we're 1-6 against the spread. We covered the Western Michigan game. Somebody out there is making good money betting against the Illini. Maybe the Zooker is supplementing his buyout money with some wagers against Illinois.
