2:30 ESPN? That's a thing? No ABC mirror?

illini checking in at #126 this week.
Predictor says buckeyes by 28.
I'm thinking margin will be more, but that Urban will take pity on TB.

45-13

I think the ABC mirror is usually utilized with ESPN2, not ESPN. But you're right, I haven't seen a lot of strictly 2:30 ESPN games this year.

This game will act as nightmare fuel. I know losing at home to IU is technically the nadir of Big Ten football, but this is going to be so bad.

They may have to add a spot for extra numbers on the Ohio St. side of the scoreboard.

I'm hoping that Urban decides to give the third stringers a chance to play. If that happens and Illinois plays its best game of the year, I can't believe that we can't keep the margin under 40 points.

I do like the split divisions though. Illinois is tied for 5th place. Not to bad.

My suggestion is we quietly slip down to Charleston and swap teams with EIU, picking up some kids from Charleston and Tolono-Unity on the way back to C-U. They are quick and have an experienced coaching staff. Of course, they would be tic'd off where we loose their Tenn Tech game for them. Couldn't be any worse than what will happen in Columbus this Saturday. Heck, might be able to keep up with them for 3 quarters.

tOSU - 63
IL - 3

Ouch. Could be worse, but since Meyer and Becks are old pals Urban will call off the dogs.

As a public service, I think you should list this game for a 7:00 PM kickoff. That way nobody will turn to the game until it's over, and you'll save a whole lot of people several hours of embarassment and frustration.

Beans and weanies for a loss.....

remind me the diff between "
awarding" steaks and cakes vs. lasagna?

They're all served on Illini-time, right?

Ohio State opens a 24-pt favorite over Illinois.

I figured it would be lowish like that. I would take tOSU, I think we're gonna just spit the bit this week.

I thought this is about what it be too. And I just confirmed my tOSU -24 bet. Line should be around 30.

I've figured out which horse to bet on this season. It took a while but then again, I'm quite slow.

I'll be watching my L school Irish play Pitt at 2:30 on Saturday. No picture-in-picture for me. No sir.

Or so I think. I'm a sadist so it's likely to at least start off that way.

It's gonna get ugly, folks. If tOSU was eligible for postseason play, they'd be in the BCS discussion for sure. Wicked good.

I'm going with a final score similar to the Oregon - Colorado game. The OSU first team should have a win secured by the start of the second quarter or worst case by halftime. The OSU second and third string teams should see a good amount of play.

Have we ever beat the betting line so far this year?

That doesn't mean what I think you think it means.

But, I see the point.

To think, it was 5 years ago that we went to Columbus and pulled off the upset...

I'm pretty sure we're 1-6 against the spread. We covered the Western Michigan game. Somebody out there is making good money betting against the Illini. Maybe the Zooker is supplementing his buyout money with some wagers against Illinois.
