Today is IU's first road game of the year. In neutral site games, they're 2-1 with two of those games going to OT. Should be an interesting one at Iowa today, they're not a bad team at all.

Anyone watching the Cincy game? They just got the most BS 4 point play I have ever seen.

You know what I don't like?
Taking someone with 4 fouls out of the game for a stretch of time. |

Minnesota will pound us inside all day... hopefully we can neutralize them with some quickness from our guards and good outside shooting.

Minnesota is rebounding 50% of their misses. It'll probably be like 75% against us. Same with MSU

MN is going to be tough this year, especially in the Barn. Athletes galore and many with good skills.
MSU is harder to read. Appling and Harris are a good backcourt, and they have some good 3-pt gunners and a decent post scorer in Nix. But they're lacking some chemistry right now. Odd mix of players that don't fit well together imo. Knowing Izzo, they'll be very good come March. |

I'd be shocked if Iowa pulled off this upset, but they are giving Indiana all they can handle right now.

Indiana is definitely beatable. I think they finish 3rd - 5th in the BiG.
I think the top 6 will be: 1.) Michigan 2.) Minnesota 3.) OSU 4.) Illinois 5.) Indiana 6.) MSU But I think Illinois could just as easily finish 2nd - 6th. I think MSU could finish top 3. I think Minnesota could win it all. OSU is good enough to win it all. This is going to be a heck of a BiG season. |

I'm not sure I have ever been watching a basketball routing for Iowa. Strange experience....

Indiana gets the win on the road. That is really big.
Minnesota holds serve at home. They really needed to win that game and did. It's going to be an exciting season. I hope the Illini can squeeze off 9+ wins in the regular season. That would be fantastic. __________________ "To forbid us anything is to make us have a mind for it." Michel Eyquem de Montaigne |

Agreed. If we can find a way to get in the dance, I really think we have the potential to make some noise.

I guess I expected Indiana to win that one. Would have been big if they lost and they could have. Marble awful from the field for Iowa. Game had no offense down the stretch. Looking forward to Indiana at Assembly Hall.

No question that IU was favored. I see the season coming down to two things. Can you hold serve at home? Can you win some on the road? Right now, IU is +1 on everyone else.
