Lot of energy early in the Georgetown - Louisville game
Hoyas 10, Cardinals 8 at the 1st tv timeout. ESPN game (paused right now to avoid the 5 hour energy schmuck) |

Nova already took down Louisville earlier this week.
Trying to double up Top 5 teams with syracuse this afternoon. With 4:06 remaining, Nova trails 59-55. But Syracuse has had 2 starters foul out. Could get interesting pretty easily |

Nova trails by 3, but with the ball.
13.5 seconds remaining. Maybe? |

What is the deal with Nova. They have some bad losses. Providence, blown out by Alabama, Columbia. Couple that with some others like Lasalle and Temple.

'Nova fans ask "How do you like me now?"
Beat the 'Cuse 75 - 71 in OT. Fans get to storm the court two games in a row. Fun to watch |

Wow. What has gotten into Nova as of late? 4-3 overall in the conference now.
Ohio State up big on Penn State in the second half (not a surprise). |

Love love love to see Syracuse get beat, almost as much as Duke. Top teams are falling this week. Our turn tomorrow

If the Illini beat Michigan tomorrow, Kansas will be the only team in the top 6 that has a chance at winning.
Duke lost, Michigan COULD lose, Kansas COULD lose, Syracuse lost, Arizona lost, Louisville is trailing. |

For the final 3 minutes of the game, they ran the clock down to 10 seconds, tried to get off a good shot, instead got a bad one and basically traded 35 seconds of clock for no points. Nova slowly worked their back into it, got the crowd revved up and walked away with a "w". I thought of Bruce several times . . . |

Take a quicker shot - preferably something going toward the hoop - and if you miss like they did, foul and you get another possession down 1, 2 or 3 depending on how the FTs go. You could be in the same situation or at the very least have a chance to tie with a three. Terrible late game strategy. Also, I'm a huge proponent of the 2-for-1 situation. It only makes sense to give yourself multiple opportunities. |

13 teams from the top 25 have lost at least once this week already. And Saturday has barely begun:
Cuse, Louisville, Duke, Cincy, Notre Dame, Creighton, VCU, Butler, Arizona, KState, NC St, and Minnesota. Still eligible to lose? Michigan, Kansas, Kansas State, Florida, Missouri, Wichita State, and New Mexico. There is a decent chance we see nearly 20 of the top 25 teams lose once the week is all said and done. |
