This is the game that derails the team.

We're a jump-shooting team. Unfortunately, jumpers can desert you from time to time. That's what happened to us tonight, just as it happened at Minny last week. I hope we rediscover our shooting touch in time for Purdue this weekend.

At least, that's how I saw tonight's game. We were sloppy in other phases of the game, but you tend to play better when your open shots are going in.

Gross........

Well, we gotta turn this ship around soon, or else we're in trouble. Weber needs to light a serious fire under this group and get them ready to take on Purdue on Sunday. But these performances just won't cut it.

Three point shooting has to get better. A lot better. Soon.

And I would bench Legion until further notice. Some of those shots were some of the worst I've ever seen.

Like a drug addict who shoots up junk, Legion has hit rock bottom. He has no idea of what the team is trying to do out there.

Unfortunately, that was only 1 of the many problems out there tonight.

From what I saw (2nd half only), Legion looked terribly out of place. Almost as if he has regressed in his understanding and application of Weber's system. Hopefully he can find his way back.

Also, Trent looked out of it as well until he finally made that shot with around 5 minutes to go. He tends to disappear once and a while for a few games. Hopefully this is going to be his last because we need his contribution all over the court.

Wow, that was bad. Pretty much the same as the Minney game. Legion looked awful, so did Trent (until it was too late). Who wants to step up and start making jumpers? No one, it seems. The team is officially in a recession.

I think our ability to run this offense is regressing with each game.

doesnt have anything to do with the system....3 air balls and a missed lay up is NOT the system

Hammer meet nail. We're one dimensional. We have no one who consistently can create his shot off the dribble and no low-post threat, either. We're basically all jump shooters.

It's almost shocking how literally everyone but I guess DMac has lost his shooting touch at the same time. But that happens in February to jump shooting teams -- tired legs during the dog days of the schedule.

When Bohanon hits six threes, you typically lose.

Yeah I know, but shooting 4-21 from the arc won't win you many or any games. Make 5 more of those, 9-21, nothing special, and you win the game.

That's our bread and butter, we have to improve it. If we continue to do that, we're screwed.

We were terrible. They played their best since the Texas game. Hard game to watch. I feel like Bruce is playing Legion to prove to recruits that he will honor his playing time commitments. It's hurting us. The time to give Legion minutes to get in sync was when we were winning by double digits. Not when we're down by that much. C'mon Bruce! Everything is falling in on itself right now. Nobody can shoot. Nobody can rebound. What will it take to light a fire under their asses?

The signature is dead. Now let's win out the season

Alex Legion should be removed from the rotation immediately, he provides no defense, turnovers, no offensive production, someone remind me why he plays? Bubba Chisholm does more to deserve a place in the rotation than Legion does, at least he works hard.

Must win on Sunday. Huge game. Lose then and with our confidence shot (no pun intended), we'd be susceptible to losses at NU and IU, too. Need all hands on deck Sun.

the offense needs to go through tisdale more...let him have the ball 10-12 times in the post...he can shoot or kick it out
