I will always like (love) a post featuring Audrey. Thanks.
I don't know how much we have left in the bank, but if we can scrounge up $2.5M (I'm guessing we have somewhere around $2M based on the crumbs we've been given thus far), yeah, in my opinion you go for two $1M+ players in your biggest positions of need in a Center and SG/CG and call it then and there. I think we have enough on our roster to fill any other needs, especially if we were to get CoHawk back.To draw this out as a general principle, just throwing all the resources we have at the absolute best guy we can get, almost regardless of position (though certainly a scoring SG/wing or a center make the most sense), is probably the most rational use of our funds at this point.
We need that star. We can live with a lesser option elsewhere and in depth. That's preferable to 2-3 Plan C guys to fill out the roster.
Ok, I agree with the sentiment of not going crazy over missed targets - it happens, and Brad and the staff have proven to excel at adapting to the strengths of the roster. But on the other hand, I can still understand someone feeling concerned when we failed to land a point guard. Yes, it turned out great, but you're using the benefit of hindsight to argue for something that someone should have thought in the moment. No, it obviously wasn't justified at all. The fact that we made the E8 and won the BTT without RayJ means that it in fact was not justified and that the people screaming the sky was falling over missing out on one PG target either didn't know what they were talking about or underrating the other pieces we had brought in (Domask, Guerrier, Harmon, etc), which is Lville's entire point: stop going crazy over missing out on targets throughout the process and wait to see what the end result looks like.
Lot of rumors going around about this one ... Sounds like could be entering the portal ...

Loyalty Drive Thru: “Hello! How can we help you today?”
Me: “Hi, I’d like the Portal Info Combo with curly fries, with only half Gritty please.”
Loyalty Drive Thru: “Would you like cottage cheese with that?”
Who is Big Z's brother? (I don't even know who Big Z is, to be honest)Big Z’s brother followed Zach Hamer on Instagram…
It’s Big T SZN, fellas
He's from St Louis and I think we were somewhat involved out of high school.do we have any connection to Kalk?
For sure, Kalkbrenner is a rare big that will make whatever team he is on a top 25 defense regardless of surroundings. He elevates a teams floor so much, would be the clear top portal optionIf we get Kalk we can stop gap the rest of the roster. I'm all in on giving the kid a bag.
What's the scouting report on him vs his brother? Tomislav looks to be quite a bit thicker.he's pretty good
Lol is Kansas going to crean Hunter to go after Kalk?Does Creighton find the $$ is the question ...
If they don't ... It's an all out battle between 4 schools based on what I've heard ...
If that is all we are going against, we have one thing that they do not. A chance to be a legend! We hadn't won in over 100 years and never won the NCAA tourney. Those other schools, he would just be another. Plus, we got Fletch and OA, help him prepare even better! How's that for a case?Lol is Kansas going to crean Hunter to go after Kalk?
I would imagine Illinois is all in but also every blue blood like Duke, UNC, Kentucky, and UCONN is also going after him.
maybe ALL the Big Dogs? They were not the program I was told ... But if he does enter ...
I can guarantee you that we will be very aggressive ... Brad gonna put the Big Dog on that one ...
Big Z is Zvonimir Ivisic. Played for Kentucky last year and is following Cal to Arkansas.Who is Big Z's brother? (I don't even know who Big Z is, to be honest)
Come on now, he’s worth more than a dollar fitty.
Is our poor relationship with the family stemming from the Max Christie recruitment not a death knell here? And the big one …

Thank you!Big Z is Zvonimir Ivisic. Played for Kentucky last year and is following Cal to Arkansas.
His twin brother is Tomislav Ivisic. 7-foot Croatian. Soft touch, can pass and shoot.
For the 938th time, it worked out primarily b/c of excellent coaching adjustment but that doesn't mean the concern wasn't justified. It's like if you dare question anything you're a hater. That's just dumb.
There is zero shot he comes here - fun pipe dream thoughIs our poor relationship with the family stemming from the Max Christie recruitment not a death knell here?
Thank you, I thought Zydrudas Ilgalskas had a much younger brotherBig Z is Zvonimir Ivisic. Played for Kentucky last year and is following Cal to Arkansas.
