17 points and playing aggressively.
That's great. I watched yesterday and he was mostly just setting up behind the arc waiting for people to pass to him.... Which in this setting can be few and far between.

I honestly would love to see him defending in one on one situations.... So many times we put him on a guard (often pg) late in the game to take them out with his length

Edit: got a break from work flipped on the TV and saw Coleman with the interview after the game with the analysts! Good for him! He did say his favorite thing to do is pass even though people tell him to score more, lol. Self awareness is a good thing!

He's looking like a legit NBA player for sure. I've always thought his game translates more to the NBA than college. His ability to guard all positions is going to be a massive asset in a league that is built on hunting the mismatch.
I've always thought so, too. He's got the size, length, and versatility that the NBA is looking for these days. Always much more of a Euro big man skillset than a traditional big, which is what the league is now.

He's an NBA player, I firmly believe that. His game is better suited to that league than ours.
I've been beating that drum for a while. NBA is such a wide-open game, it really suits the way he is able to freelance and anticipate. Plus, he's so dang smart.

IMO he was always just a reliable 3 point shot away from being a solid NBA contributor. I feel like he got there this year. His ability to switch nearly every position on defense is a huge feather in his cap.

LOVE the Coleman highlights, don't like the Watkins highlights. But if it's both in the NBA or neither, give me the former.

Watching Hawk's highlights from yesterday on the front page, they keep emphasizing his time at Illinois under Brad. If he comes back, having commentators attaching another program's name to him is going to feel horribly gross. I want what's best for him, he'll always be ours, and I will cheer him no matter what, but please, just let some team give him a guarantee this year so we can avoid that ickiness in perpetuity.

Their best is behind them, but I always thought Hawk would be a PERFECT fit playing on Golden State.
He plays for Warriors is kind like playing for us, the tallest player on the team with substantial time in 5. He will probably complain and then transfer to a team with a true center. /s :ROFLMAO:
