I think there are people on this board that would rather have Groce or want him to still be the head coach at Illinois.....comical
This is an easy one: NO!

Can we all come together to agree on something? Are we going to go with Giorgi or Bez? 2 abbreviations for 1 kid is 1 too many.
I wonder what other section of the newspaper they're absorbing that forced dichotomy from? :hand:
How about Mercedes Bez?
It's wild that people are extrapolating that concern for this upcoming season means that there's a call for either Groce or Weber.
Or Reggie Theus.

While this is not true, there *are* people on this board who are incapable of grasping any stance other than "the coach is 100% right about all things" or "the coach is absolutely wrong about everything, fire him and bring back his predecessor."
Yeah and you have a stupid profile pic, see we both have stupid things to say. :thumb:

Kane has to take one summer class and get an A.
If this is a joke or something my apologies for being too dim witted to get it, but if not, why does he have to get an A?

If we have no rim protector, save Kane, good teams (and mediocre ones) will dine on us. So, yeah, I stand by my earlier comment.
Echoing Obelix, I think we'll be better across the board, but we need that rim protector.
They have those at Amazon for 9 bucks. Seriously, rim protector has to be one of the most annoying basketball terms, worse than stretch forward.
I like old, tried and true saying, like when you got lemons, make lemonade. If they don't have anyone to protect the rim; then maybe they can use their length, quickness, and depth in the back court to keep the ball away from the rim. Put ball pressure on the point. Jump into the passing lanes on the wings. Deny the entry passe. Create transition offense off long rebounds and turnovers.
Yes, we need a rim protector, serviceable 5, blah, blah, blah, hashed, re-hashed ad nauseam.
To say our season is riding on that is just not true. Our coach has said so.
Interwebz coaches vs. Actual college head coach?
Who you got?
How many were saying that after year 1?
I don't know. Is that anything similar to "in over his head"?
The two dudes in the photo above deserve it.
