When informed of the SLU suspensions, signee Carte’are Gordon said “That is crazy.” Asked about his future with the program, he added “I’ll definitely have to take things into consideration.”

All that being said, I am not a huge Stu Durando fan, but he covers SLU for the Post-Dispatch, so he probably knows at least a little.

That I don't know. I only just heard about it. I've been in meetings all day and I don't really follow SLU basketball since moving out of the area. I did see that they only had 8 players traveling for their game against UMass.

Gordon signed. The coach will still be there. He's going to SLU. Doesn't really matter, he'd go to Missouri if it isn't SLU. Or he may follow Ramey.

Goodwin would have to sit out next year... long way to look into the future...

I can't imagine he is the fourth considering he has been playing all season and had a triple double the other night.

This has been going on for months. The four kids have not played at all this year. A big reason why SLU record is so bad .

Unless the NCAA changes the transfer rules, which they are reportedly discussing.

According to reports, 3 have not played, the other player is a starter. Lots of speculation on who that player is. Unless players leak it, won’t know until team takes the floor tomorrow.

The story -- so far. I don't think we're going to have to worry about Travis Ford for much longer. Terrible optics.

Someone tweeted we won't see any changes for this cycle.

They had been suspended from the basketball team all season over this. The investigation is just finally being completed.

“They knew about it before, discussed it before, engaged consensually and realized there were pictures being taken and left and had buyer’s remorse,” Rosenblum said. When asked if the women knew they were being photographed, he said, “I don’t know how they could not know pictures were being taken. It wasn’t a huge space. Nobody was hiding anything.”
Big difference between engaging in consensual sex and having pictures taken of it.

Here's a summary thread on the Billiken board's 200+ page topic.

This sounds really, really ugly.

SLU has played only 9 guys this year, so far today 8 of them have played and the only guy that hasn't is a walk on from Greece and he has only played in 7 games and 12 total minutes for the year.

Seems there has been some misinformation out there.

Given that Jordan Goodwin played today, and led SLU, he is definitely not suspended.

I think Goodwin was the videographer and has actually been expelled, however he has the ability to appeal and has done such. He is eligible to play during the appeal process. The appeal response has to come back within 10 business days, which would put it at Feb. 2nd.

Whether Goodwin has had any involvement and will be suspended, or expelled, that remains to be seen. But the fact is that Goodwin has not been suspended yet. You can't be suspended and play in a basketball game.

I have also heard that Goodwin is the one facing expulsion.

I haven’t looked, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the SLU alums that told me got their info from there. Dammit, TC. I thought I had a semi-hot scoop on my hands
