He's good. Cubit and Golesh wanted him bad. Strong arm and really quick release. Moves well too.

Love moran he's a playmaker. Anyone have the skinny on peters? He seems like a great get to get a 3 star qb from the south with many of quality programs interested!

Peters is very very talented. Great to lock him up before camps get going.

Hmmm? I must admit, one of the better hudl videos I've seen for a QB. Great arm and good speed.

Hard to believe he isn't rated higher. How do you fly under the radar in Jacksonville Florida? Glad we got him.

Holy crap, i haven't checked the board in a few hours and i come back to this news. What a great start to our recruiting class.

was hearing KM may commit, but I wasn't going to believe it 'til he actually made it public
what a group of RB's we're gathering:clappy:

Great job by the staff! They focused on Peters & closed the deal. Now this train is rolling & it feels like we're really starting to build something:ms:

Great work by coaches. Welcome to the new Illini!:tsk:

Glad to see the coaches keeping the recruiting momentum going. Hopefully, it continues to snowball like it did last year.

Well, that was quick :D. I'm no expert, but this is the best looking QB Cubit's gotten out of HS so far, IMHO.

If our o-line can improve, Vaughn and Moran could become one of the best RB duos in the Big Ten, if not the nation.

I really hope that Moran can help convince his hs teammate Kicker Tucker Mccann to come to Illinois with him. (I know a couple of poster was talking about Mccann when we offered him). With the problems that we had in the kicking games last, Mccann would be a great addition. I think he rated as the #1 kicker and has offers from Alabama and Missouri.

I am impressed with our QB depth and youth.

Crouch RS Fr.
Jimmy FR
George Jr. FR
Peters c/o 2016

Crouch, Jimmy, Peters are all guys who I've seen that can throw well and tuck it and run. The prototype QB you need in College. Not saying any of these guys are burners but they can tuck it and get enough with there athletic ability and big frames to keep the defense to play honest.

Who is the front runner for the job once Wes graduates? Is it wide open, or are there a couple who are clearly better?

Is Wes guaranteed to start this fall? If Crouch is more impressive in spring and fall practices, do you think he might start over Wes?

These commits are very nice to see. :chief:

Assuming Wes is the starter this year, I think we will find out the next in line this year, given WL's history. Hoping he is healthy all year, but history suggests that won't happen.
