Didn't see this posted, so I apologize if this was mentioned, but it looks like Simms officially changed his Twitter acct. back to a Mizzou commit. Was hoping the flip back to MIZ wasn't true...

This kid couldnt choose a school if he wanted to.....he probably didnt have the grades to get in illinois so flipped back......
sigh....we'll be alright..... the illini will be alright!!we need a 4 star player somewhere who can come make an impact right away tho
Either that or his HS coaches made him do it.

Doug wrote an article about Trevour's story.
On a side note, his High School coaches are the ones who made him commit to Illinois. His decision will most likely come down to signing day.
fwiw, I've also heard his hs coaches were the ones (along with Strong & Greg Taylor) who then subsequently pushed him to commit to Mizzou due to personal interests they had.
If things were reversed and Illinois did the same people on this board wouldn't bat an eye. Get over it and move on. To me oline is the least of Illinois worries.
He's from Missouri and didn't get a Missouri offer until late. He committed to Illinois and that was his best offer. He got what he deemed a better offer and jumped. I thought ESL was in Illinois....
Kid from Decatur we should get in on, goes to St Teresa. Jacardia Wright. Will be a soph. and was just named a max preps freshmen all american. Made it as a safety but could have as a rb as well. The only one from Illinois.
Believe it or not, people DO know about him.. Not sure how much this current staff knows about him, but the kid is a baller in the making. It'll be interesting to see how the new staff at his HS uses him.
Very interested to see how his new staff uses him as well. I'm guessing mostly the same. (Rb/safety)But his new coach has proven track record of winning and proving he can go far when he has talent. I'm not he's ever had talent like he's about to either.
The coach at a private school in an area where nobody wants to attend the public school and they get to compete against little farm towns where even the 4' 8" 105 lb. kids have to start to field a team. Shocker!
I assume the kid will have to attend camps to REALLY be noticed.
The coach who went to 5 state championships with one of those farm town teams.
Depends on if he absolutely dominates on the field next year or not. Either way really, I expect he will be attending camps or something like that.
Who did they hire for their coach?
Mark Ramsey
Did he used to coach at central a&m?
