as an illini through and through, trust me, it that is all it takes for you to leave the fanbase, then you weren't really a true fan. True fans stick out the low times and party in the high times. True fans know there will be both. True fans always want the best, but also accept those that failed. It's hard for many to understand. I get it. :thumb: I loved Dee Brown who played for the national championship. I also supported Brooks Taylor and Chester Frazier who did not. I will pat every guy on this current team on the back, even Jaylon Tate and Mav Morgan and give them my support. I will support John Groce when nobody does because he is an illini....plain and simple.
Can I question him, them or the whole shabang..Damn straight I can. But I will never be an EX-FAN. NO WAY..NO HOW!
EX fan= no fan.
Do you quit being a dad when your kid is struggling? Do you quit being a husband when your wife is going through hard times? Do you quit on your dog when he poops on the floor? Did we quit when the germans bombed pearl harbor? Hell no!
