In 20 days the Hawks went from 13 points behind Dallas to 3 points up. Crazy...

#11 in the bag. Franchise record on the line in Nashville. Then on to Florida. More goodness from Gus. Great one timer from Panik. Great effort from Panarin to free himself from the defenders, followed by great pass to Kane for the one timer. What chemistry.

Love Panarin. He is going to be a great one!

it goes to show that this franchise is running in the right direction, when strapped into Cap Hell over the summer, they made a tough but needed trade in Saad, got good players in return, and had to part ways with Sharp and Odyua, but we after a slow start we are rolling right now. Has a lot to do with the Coaching and high quality of the core players.

12th straight win for the franchise record.

I wanted to watch this more than the Illini game.

Amazing run these guys are on right now. What a great job by the coaches and the players to integrate all the new faces into the system. 44 out of 144 goals so far scored by players not on roster last year.

How 'bout the Scouting Department? They ID'd Gus (Edmonton drafted him, but didn't sign him because they thought he needed to work on his D). Moose is another one. Danault (2011 late first round pick) has been VG. It's way early, but Panik has been found money. And the Breadman is pretty good at hockey.

Everything's golden right now.

I actually watched this instead of the Illini game. Seems like it was a good choice.

Couldn't agree more. The front office and scouting department have been fantastic the last few years, especially this past offseason. They manage to, not only stay competitive year to year, but also be contenders. That's no small task in the salary cap era. The blackhawks have truly been a model organization over the last 8 years.

Yeah, I'm glad the Blackhawks don't play in the East. Having to play any two of the Bolts, Panthers, or Caps in a six game series would be horrible. Completely outplayed the last two days.

I was actually at the game last night. The team just looked whipped. No energy or urgency. the streak looked to have tired them out. Time to get back on it at home against the blues.

I wouldn't read too much into two games. The West is generally considered a much stronger conference. Just look at the last several years of SC winners. Four in a row for the Kings and Hawks. Seven out of the last nine. Both EC winners won in seven games. All seven of the WC winners won in six or less. Go Hawks!

Tazer with a HUGE game tonight! That OT winner was a beaut.

Saw the replay. How could Arizona just let him walk in like that? There were two guys who could have challenged him but they backed in and let him go right between the circles.

Because one man was trailing the play, it was a 3-on-2. If either Arizona player makes a move toward him, he easily slides it to Keith or Panarin. Someone was going to be open for a good shot.

Hossa also came to play last night. There is just something about playing the Yotes that sends him to that next level.

Didn't see that on the replay. Just saw the two Arizona d back in and thought that it won't end well for them. A second later, game over.

No Panarin tonight. Bummer. If it keeps him from making his Schedule B bonus though, yippie!

Hawks have been sleep walking through this last week three losses in a row at home.
More concerned with the loss of Big Hoss than I am with the three losses, or even slipping back into second place. You are absolutely right though, with the exception of that third period against Dallas this team has no motivation right now.
