Charlie ice cold from 3 tonight. LWW wins 68-60. CM with only 15, 6 in the 2nd half. So it's Manual, St. Joe's, Lincoln Way West and Althoff in Peoria for 3A Friday afternoon.
Althoff game is about to resume.

btw, Althoff's game is just starting the fourth quarter thanks to the 'tornado timeout' but they're leading 65-40 so I'm assuming they'll be in Peoria. :)

Just left the Belleville game. I personally didn't see much from Goodwin that made me think can't miss. I often thought is this guy really D1. After both his missed fast break open dunks that were stuffed by the rim he failed to get back on defense and seem to have a negative attitude all night. I realize this is a one game sample size and my first time seeing him so hopefully someone can jump in and explainthe hype around him. I know that putting stock in one game means nothing but I just didn't feel D1 athlete with him.

:thumb: I've spent 10 bucks on a lot worse than watching 8 tabs of HS tournament basketball.
(and still have the end of two games left.)

initial article on the game. 14 points, wasn't keeping stats but he had at least two blocks, several steals and assists. That's about the tenth time I've seen him -- all streaming however -- and in my opinion he's improved greatly since his fr and so years. Very athletic, fast, great jumper. Motor isn't always turned on but if he was in the hospital Sunday, I can understand that for tonight. I think we'll know better what kind of impact he'll have after next year. If he keeps improving like has so far, he's going to be a very good college player.

If rumors are accurate, and these rumors seem legit based on the two metro-east "insiders" I've heard from, maybe Tilmon and Goodwin playing together their senior year of high school will lead them to the same college. If this happens, Althoff will easily be the best team in the state again next year.

Didn't Tilmon just transfer to La Lu? Seems weird to transfer back to back years.
