Took two grandsons to the practice today. They were thrilled to get Lovie's autograph and to interact with the players. However, on the way home my 8 year old grandson asked why the Illini would play music that had cuss words in it.

I like it.
The first half of Saturday's practice, the music was good and was something you could move to. The second half, that stuff was gawd awful. I need to find the person who picked that noise and write a sternly written letter. Look around in the stands, we were not the demographic that the music must have been pointed towards. We were thankful when they turned it off.
Maybe, just maybe there was a more important demographic in attendance that would appreciate the music.
Maybe just maybe those pesky Recruits
I don't think a demographic that appreciates foul language needs to be catered to.
Not saying we should be playing unedited versions of songs at a family friendly event, but 4-5 star recruits most definitely need to be catered to, that's what recruiting means. And a large number of current top recruits enjoy hip-hop.
