Cubs fall to 27-10 tonight. Cubs' hitters looked like zombies until Heyward and Bryant late.

To put their start into perspective, though, the Cubs lost their 10th game on April 29th last year, with a 12-10 record.

It looks like we are hitting a bit of a mid-May swoon. (We have gone 2-4, after starting 8-1)

Hopefully we can have another spirt like the start of the season.

Quite the battle tonight. Nice win for the Cubs. Gotta feel good for Travis Wood!

How about putting up a 10 spot on the scoreboard to get the series win? Offense has found a lot of gloves the past two games.

Watching this series vs. Milwaukee, I feel like the manager from Bull Durham.

"How'd we do this series?"
"1-2."
"How'd we even win 1?"

Ugly, ugly series.

I saw on yahoo sports he went out of the game after the wall collision. Any update?

He made a great catch diving in the warning track. They held his left arm all the way to the dugout.

Nothing broken is what they are saying now. MRI today.

Glad to see Soler with a good game.

Rizzo and Baez have BABiP'ed .132 and .120 respectively over the last 12 games.

During the 4-8 stretch, the Cubs have actually outscored their opponents 43-37.

I'm gonna go with "a little run of bad luck" and "baseball can just be like that."

Hammel looked great in tonight's win. Offense finally clicked and put up double digits.
