I think jkat knows something about this recruitment. If I remember correctly he was one of the guys would nailed the verbal.

Oh FFS.

Just once can this team be involved with a 5-star recruit where there isn't drama? Just a nice commitment, no indecision before signing day, signing day comes and the staff receive the LOI right on time and we all can move on.

Tilmon has to do what is best for him. But this happens to UI with seemingly every truly elite recruitment the program is involved in. If it's not de-commitment drama, it's qualification drama, or it's drama with being in trouble.

The spotlight always has to be on UI as to what kind of punching bag the program can be turned in to next. It's exhausting - I can't imagine how Groce and staff feel.

Was JCL a 5-star, or a high 4 star? In any case, his commitment was as nice and boring as it can possibly be.

Indy Orange, too!!

He was right in that I could take his facts to the bank. The teller looked at me funny, as she didn't follow basketball recruiting, but I took the facts there nonetheless.

On a related note, banks do not accept facts for deposit. Who knew?

4*, RSCI #37.

In any event you're right about his being nice and boring but Tilmon is in the next level of impact player.

Goodnight? I find it hard to believe you are that clued into the recruitment if you apparently live in Poland (based on the time you go to bed and the number of consonants in your name in a row).

I believe he is referencing Indy Old School (wasn't that the guy?) from the Eric Gordon recruitment. Next day, well.. everything was not fine.

As much as I don't like, I can understand a 5* prospect like Jeremiah Tilmon not wanting to sign with a coach on the hot seat. I can see why he would want to wait and see how the season goes before committing to Groce.

He's waiting to see if the NCAA grants Thorne a 7th season.
