+1. Based on how both teams have been playing it should be a blowout. But the whole rivalry thing will kick in and keep it close. That is usually how it goes.

I understand why people think this will be a close one and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried but there's also a part of me that thinks we're just gonna blow these bums out of the gym. Whichever method of winning works for me. Let's be 10-3 heading to Maryland.

Have had the chance to see Mizzou play live a few times this year...they are BAD.
Puryear and Hughes are their best players, and neither of them would even start for us. Not saying that they are bad players, Puryear is potential all-SEC, but he isn't better than MH or LB IMO.
Hughes is a freshman guard, can get hot, but is a very streaky scorer.
Only 4 guys on their team have even shot threes this year, Geist might be their best ballhandler and hes a JUCO transfer, not strong, horrible defender.
All their bigs besides Puryear are toothpicks.

Mizzou also added texas transfer jordan barnett today. He was a top 100 recruit from st louis from a couple years ago. He only had 3 pts today vs eiu but i know my mizzou friends were excited about adding him.

No doubt this game will be closer than it should be. Thinking Mizzou will cover the spread. (I haven't yet seen what it is.) And if we happen to lose this one, it may just push us to the NIT.

We definitely have more talent in this one. Play fast like we did in the first half of the BYU game. Make some exciting plays, get the crowd involved, and never look back. I'm guessing Mizzou will want to do the opposite. Let's make this a track meet. We have the bodies.

This should be a good opportunity for Kipper to get some time. I'd make him Leron's primary backup if I was Groce. Let DJ spell Hill a little more than normal, to give Hill a bit of rest before conference season kicks in.

According to the math on TeamRankings.com we have a 24% chance to make the tourney as of now. 36% chance if we get 20 wins and it jumps all the way to 72% chance of we win 21. Need to finish the year 12-8 to feel good about ourselves. MizNoz on the other hand...1% chance
